[Hux is sitting in front of a table back at the Power Plant. He's tinkering with various wires and droid part with the attempt of building a new droid. He wasn't heavily focused on the project. It was more to keep himself occupied as he tried to sort out what he wanted to say. He did think about blocking the post from a couple of people, but at this point he didn't care. Eventually people would learn and it was better to hear it from the exact source. When he does speak he doesn't look at the camera and he talks in a soft and hesitant tone.]

How does one redefine their person? Even while among Drift Fleet and here for a time being --I had always clung to my title as General. I also always knew that I was the face of the First Order. It was something I knew I had to return to when I was home.

As much as it pains me to admit....I no longer have the title or any title for that matter. It's just....Hux. The military and First Order had been the only life I had known. I had been taken from my mother to serve the First Order's needs as my father helped form it. Only to learn the ultimate plans later and what First Order's real plans were... In everything we had worked hard for and did...in the end we were just a simple pawn in the grand scheme of things. Even a military can be expendable.

I at least have my engineering skills to use and find some purpose. But that feels very trivial in light of how my life had been. I'm aware that others are probably struggling with the same thing to varying degrees. It's a hard thing to adjust to. I wouldn't mind hearing what you have chosen to do.

They don't seem to understand...a lot, really. They seem to be trying very hard though. I know it's frustrating, but at this point, we don't have too much of a choice to do otherwise than survive.

I think I'm just using being here as a distraction from it. From what happened. If I think about it too much it'd be too easy to see things here as being just as lost as ever.

Yes, I'm being a bit harsh. I understand that they are trying to understand and help us. I just prefer more direct answers instead of vague answers that aren't answers.

Instead of being a pawn in one game...I'm now a pawn in another game.

I helped get the Power Plant up an running. I'm trying to make adjustments so it can run better along with other projects that people have requested. It's just feels so trivial to what I am used to working with.

Direct answers would be favorable. I guess I'm used to vague answers where you're supposed to figure things out on your own.

[His lips twitch in a mirthless smile as he shrugs.]

Hey, power's important. Actually, since I'll assume because of it you've got a better understanding of how things that require power should work, maybe I should ask you for some pointers.

Hrmmmm. You're not a Force user are you? You just sound like one.

[He narrows his eyes a bit mainly due to the fact most of his experience with people using the Force hasn't been great....but then Altair has been proving to change that around. So now he's just hesitant.]

I'll do my best. I'm still learning as well how things work.

[That actually gets a brief laugh from him. Well, no sense in hiding it, he supposes. He scratches the back of his head.]

My partner is a Force user and I've worked among Force users....so I can usually get an idea if someone is one.

I will, once something comes to mind. Right now I'm just readjusting to being back here, getting things sorted out.

No.....It seems people are bent on trying to get rid of anyone whose a Force user and using one with the Force to get them, etc.... The other wanted to wipe out the entire human population. It's one big mess that's bent on repeating itself.

My partner I met from here, oddly enough. I suppose it's the one good thing of having come to this place.

Are you speaking of Altair? Unless there are other Force users here... I haven't met any aside from him.

[Hux gave a node and a small smile at the mention of Altair.]

Yes.

There's another Force user....but that's one from my world unfortunately.... And the one that is used to hunt down other Force users. I would avoid him at all costs.

I wish I knew...but I often wonder the same about myself. Why they brought me here...and then returned me again.

I'm not sure what the Agrii's qualifications are, but I guess it doesn't mean too much when we're already here.

Yes, I was gone for a couple of years....but I was told it was only a week here I had been missing.

Given they already pull people from similar if not the same galaxies but alternate times, that doesn't sound as crazy as it should. It'd be nice to know how though...

Good point. It would be nice to know how they can mess with time and not cause problems.

Apparently the timeframe that a person goes missing from their world is so small that unless someone's really looking for it, it's not that noticeable. At least, according to studies from someone I spoke to on Risa.

Intriguing. It's shame we can't explore that some more.

Yeah. We definitely don't have that sort of equipment to measure energy fluctuations, and if we don't remember anything when we go back, that would make it difficult to ask outside parties if they'd noticed anything.

It's something to note and think on.
