[The video clicks on to a... Slightly older looking Altair, in clothes much finer than he wore before. He looks perhaps a bit more tired than ever, though not confused- so it's safe to assume he remembers his time on Agra 10.]

Back again, then. And... [He looks around, unfamiliar surroundings, but his memories are true- another trip off planet thanks to the Agrii then?] In the middle of some sort of event, it seems? A little hotter here than I would have preferred, but beggars can't be choosers.

[At least this time around, he'd been taken from a somewhat calmer situation. He'd been standing contemplating the Eternal Throne, and then he was here. He really can't complain. Given that he couldn't remember Agra 10 during his absence from it, he's sure the GEMINI Captains won't go rogue without him.] How long has it been since I was here?

It feels like forever, but...

[He's going to need to seek out some people regardless, he supposes.]

The storm passed, we had a friendly conversation with Eli, and there is another newly arrived Chiss.

I'm glad you kept Eli company. Thrawn's absence and then my own... Can't have been easy on him.

[He feels kind of bad. Even if it was out of his control.] ... Another Chiss?

[Guess he's going to have to try and avoid whoever it is. He supposes he should feel lucky that Chiss have a very distinct feeling through the Force.]

We think our talk helped him. He is quite loyal to your people.

Fear not, we will ensure that he keeps his distance from you.

As is the case for most Chiss, I believe.

[Or so he's heard, anyway. He's still not sure he believes it, even if he's been to Copero, and come to an agreement with Aristocra Saganu.] I'm probably not as afraid of my own people as I once was.

[Probably. Most likely.] Many Chiss decided to join the Alliance, during the many years of war at home, many call Odessen their home and accept my rule.

Many apparently look up to me, as well.

[According to Saganu, even Chiss outside of his Alliance.] It does trouble me that "scaring the Emperor enough to send him flying up a lamp post" is a rite of passage for them though.

[That was a joke.]

This Chiss is from our time, and he is not a typical Chiss either.

Another person from our time? I see.

[Maybe people from their time is becoming more common too. He's not sure how he feels about that, really.] How is he not typical?

He is much more open with his emotions, and speaks with an Imperial accent, rather than a Csillan one.

I see. Maybe he was born in the Empire, too, like I was.

[It's probably not that rare, considering how the Empire and Ascendancy are allied. Maybe a lot of Chiss are born outside of the Ascendancy, and grow up not knowing their home world.

It can't be just him, he supposes. Even if it sure feels that way, sometimes.] Though hopefully not exactly like I was. I don't wish being raised in slavery on anyone.

He made no mention of where he was born, but perhaps we will ask him. He seems quite fond of us, and apparently he knows us, but sadly we've not met him yet. He was taken from a time after we met, while I was taken before.

I see.

[Vector having been taken before, this other Chiss after. From an earlier time than him then, considering the time that passed at home.]

I can't imagine it's easy for him, then. You'll be taking the time to get to know him?
