[The video clicks on to a... Slightly older looking Altair, in clothes much finer than he wore before. He looks perhaps a bit more tired than ever, though not confused- so it's safe to assume he remembers his time on Agra 10.]

Back again, then. And... [He looks around, unfamiliar surroundings, but his memories are true- another trip off planet thanks to the Agrii then?] In the middle of some sort of event, it seems? A little hotter here than I would have preferred, but beggars can't be choosers.

[At least this time around, he'd been taken from a somewhat calmer situation. He'd been standing contemplating the Eternal Throne, and then he was here. He really can't complain. Given that he couldn't remember Agra 10 during his absence from it, he's sure the GEMINI Captains won't go rogue without him.] How long has it been since I was here?

It feels like forever, but...

[He's going to need to seek out some people regardless, he supposes.]

Simplicity is overrated.

[ Calvin nods, gives a wave, and heads out. He'll stop by hit hotel before going there, to actually get dressed normally. Not that the Risans care, but he does. ]

I suppose it is.

[Altair has, admittedly, always had a certain sense of adventure. So perhaps the simple life isn't quite for him, indeed.

He gives a wave of his own.

And as agreed, is waiting in that nearby lounge soon enough.]

[ When Calvin sees him, he nods and heads for him. ]

Altair! It's good to see you, man.

[ He doesn't hug the man, but it is a close thing. Calvin likes being alive, and well, Altair was the first thing he saw in this world, so, it's nice seeing him again. ]

Come on. They have great food and drinks here. [ He leads the way to a table. ]

It's good to see you too. [Altair smiles, and does reach out to give him a friendly pat on the arm- not a hug, but definitely an indication that he's glad to see him well, and an indication that a hug might not have been rejected had he gone in for one.

He follows along to the table though, and can't help but laugh a little.] Good food, too? I suppose that's fortunate- I might need to start convincing myself to continue eating more than one meal a day from now on.

[The only reason he'd gained weight at home and is less dangerously thin, is because he's had Lana standing above him, demanding he eat.

He certainly hopes he won't start doing the same thing he did years ago in eating as little as he could and hoarding what he doesn't eat.]

Stick with me, Doc, and I'll make sure you get all the good food you can stand.

[ Calvin grins as he checks out the menu. ]

There's a party tonight, some kind of beach thing. You gotta come. For like the five minutes I will be there, anyway. Before I run away screaming.

[ Too many people, too much stimulation. For Calvin, it is like the scraping of knives over an open wound. ]

That's not a whole lot, to be honest.

[Food is very much still a necessity thing for him, rather than something he likes. His meals tend to be small, and he doesn't really snack on things in between either- it's just a him sort of thing.

He knows most organic beings quite enjoy eating.] A party? Perhaps.

[He'd once asked his companions at home, if they thought him dull enough to not like parties. The responses were... Mixed, to say the least.] Maybe if I can find my boyfriend, first.

[Hux has to be around somewhere, he's sure.]

[ At that last, Calvin sits up, blinking. ] Dude! Of course. No way would I want to monopolize your time. Definitely find the guy. This place is made for spending with loved ones.

[ Calvin will just be glad someone is enjoying that part, and flee to quieter climes himself. Actually... ]

There are these cliffs you can get a tour too, where the wind makes the structure of them sing, kind of. Maybe a place to take your beau, yeah?

Knowing Hux, he's probably absorbed in work even here. He's a very diligent person. I just hope he's not upset with me for leaving, even if it wasn't my choice.

[First the storm though, then this. Seems life keeps trying to keep him and his boyfriend apart.

Still, if he is upset with him, the Altair wants to give him some space and let him decide when to reach out and talk to him.] And I still find time for friends, Calvin. Both he and I, thank the stars, are not the type of couple who are glued to each other at the hip.

[Altair doesn't think he could stand having a boyfriend like that.] And I will certainly consider that, thank you for the tip- might as well take advantage of being here to take him out on a date.

Well, hell, I hope not. That would be a sucky thing for him to do.

[ Sorry, Altair. Calvin has little to no filter.

Calvin nods. ]

I'll always have time for you. If my comms are off, just leave a message and it ill send it through as soon as I can... deal with things.

[Altair blinks. Then laughs. Honestly, he can have little to no filter himself, so meeting another person like that is just amusing.]

I'm sure he really is just absorbed in his work. He's not the type to be entirely too unreasonable.

[Not at all. Had he been, Altair probably wouldn't have fallen for him.] You're free to contact me whenever, as well. Should you need help, or simply someone to talk to. Things are nice and peaceful now, but you were there for part of the storm- we all need to be supporting each other to make it through.
