I am requesting a virtual town hall. And requesting in the sense that I have been talked down from magicking every single one of you into a room to talk about this, so I would be grateful if you would all please participate.

I realize we’ve never officially sat down and hashed this shit out, but I thought it went without saying that we follow the basic rules of right and wrong in this place. I didn’t expect to wake up to find we turned into Lord of the Flies over night while I was gone.

So can we have a talk about what is and isn’t appropriate here? Because I punch bad guys for a living, but even I know that ganging up on someone, detaining them, and making threats when they are not currently a danger, ISN’T okay. I didn’t think we needed it written down as law. I don’t care if this guy IS the murderer, he’s still owed the same basic rights as anyone else here. And I’m pretty sure coercion isn’t a tactic anyone should feel proud about using on someone, especially with so little proof. Not to mention I’ve attacked people here more than once. No one’s questioned me. We know for a fact this place can have us acting against our natures, and none of you have stopped to wonder if this might be the same?

If the rest of you disagree then I guess you aren’t the people I thought you were. I’m disappointed in everyone who took part and everyone who watched and didn’t intervene.

Yeeeaaah, I didn't feel excited to get yelled at by everyone at once.

[Besides, it would have meant putting a spotlight on Donnie, and he didn't want to do that. For basically the reasons Billy is highlighting here, sure, but that's exactly why he tried to do something privately first. Too bad it blew up in his face.]

Everyone here loves reminding me that I'm a kid, but it doesn't really feel like the adults have anything figured out, either. So no, I don't feel bad about what I did. Because at least I was doing something.

I literally pointed that out. I'm not trying to say I'm some untouchable perfect being. I don't know why people forgave me...why no one's questioned me. People should.

I didn't hurt Robin. I don't have a good alibi, I was alone, asleep, until I got the call to come to the hospital and help.

[Leo sighs, rubbing at his eyes. It's not like he actually thinks Billy - this Billy - did it. Even despite the fact that he's just admitted to being violent in the past. But hey, Raph can get a little slap-happy when he's left alone for too long; maybe it's something like that.

Then again, Wesker strangled Tony and Tony decided not to tell anyone. Maybe because he knew it wouldn't get him anywhere. Leo had been surprised, because everyone seems to hero worship the guy, but if even Tony didn't see a point in raising a concern about violent behavior, maybe there's no point in it at all. No one seems willing to listen to Leo, they only want to tell him what he's doing wrong without any direction for what to do right.]

I don't want anything from you specifically, I was just trying to draw everyone's attention to the fact that we need to try and do better, even though we're scared, and not let that turn us into the kind of people willing to force answers out of someone.

If it helps, whoever was at your probably could've hurt either of you then if they'd wanted to. If you're still not feeling safe there, and you feel like you can trust me, I can add some magical protections to your place?
