Tan lines
Who: Jan Van Dyne, OTA
What: Working on her tan
When: Post Memory Storm Event
Where: Temba beach
Warnings: TBD, Slight nudity?
Having lived through her fist storm, Jan could say she didn't really like them. The sure cure that kind of trauma was almost always found poolside, sipping on a strong drink and making eyes at the newest pool boy. Before she do that, she needed to work on her tan.
And so Jan had hiked out to those pretty purple sands and found herself a spot, stretching out on a towel with a good romance novel in hand. Some time later, as she rolled onto her stomach and undid the straps of her top she felt a shadow block her sun and smirk.
"Make yourself useful and get my back?" she said without looking back, offering up bottle of suntan lotion.

"You're less blunt that your Uncle. But I can see the resemblance. Plenty of foot in mouth action. So- if you're not going to help me, you can at least get me up to speed. How've you been?"
no subject
"I'm less irritating in some situations too," he says with a shrug.
As for how he's been... Wow, that's a lot. Tommy thinks of a cabin on the beach and smiles to himself. That sort of soft, warm, fond smile people get when they have feelings. Which he does.
"I've been good. Tony invited me to the party, so I'm working on that when I can."

She knows that expression. And this one looks a whole lot like Wanda's.
"Mmmhmm. That what's got your cheeks all hot and bothered?" she teases.
no subject
"The sun," he returns immediately, because it's so easy to quip back when you're a speedster who is not yet flustered. "Hot stuff on my pale body."
no subject
"You want some of my lotion?" she offers, the look she gives him saying she doesn't buy it for a second.
no subject
"Not really. I tan pretty well from the Maximoff part of my genetics. When I take the time to sit in the sun."
no subject
Her brow arches, still not really clear on how any of that works, and honestly, trying to make sense of Wanda's kids gave her a headache the first time around, trying to figure out how genes played into being born to completely separate parents- not a battle she was willing to fight.
"You know, sun damage doesn't care about your genes. You wanna keep that pretty face you should start early."
no subject
"I don't intend to stay out in the sun that long," he dismisses. "And I'm not using makeup or that stuff. It's horrible for your skin."
no subject
"You really are like your uncle."
no subject
"I don't know if that's a compliment or an insult or both. It's definitely worrying."
no subject
"Bit of both," she eventually a confirms, "But, like him, you are weirdly charming despite it all."
