[ action ] - Exploring the Station
WHO: Keith, open (closed thread for Jughead)
WHERE: Around the station, possibly on the Glitter Food at some point
WHAT: Exploring, shopping, figuring things out, investigating pink aliens
WHEN: during the space station phase of the event
WARNINGS: Will add as needed?
Keith had been checking things out around the station, trying to find what things were the same and what things were different. While the actual station designation hadn't really rung a bell for him (he was surprisingly bad with names), the base structure did. Granted, there had been a lot added on over time, but he kind of recognized what was original and what was new... for the most part.
There had been a good number of changes.
Still, enough people on the station remembered Drift Fleet, surprisingly enough, and Keith found it odd to once again be recognized by strangers. He hadn't had this since the last time he'd been home, being recognized as a Voltron Paladin, and someone who had essentially saved Earth. And, honestly, it didn't feel any better than last time, either. He wasn't a fan of the attention.
But, he also didn't mind taking advantage of it. People who did recognize him as being from Drift Fleet, and those who also recognized him as a pilot of his current ship, seemed to treat him a bit differently. It seemed to get him into a few advantageous situations, and, at this point, he wasn't above leveraging that in order to get what they needed on this current mission. In fact, one stall in particular basically gifted him a blanket that had been an exact replica of one seen on the show...
Keith wasn't sure how he felt about that. It had been from their last Calibrations before breaking free of the Marsiva.
Either way, he could be found out and about, either laden with useful supplies he'd found or not, maybe he was your station "Uber" driver for the day, as he'd picked that up for some odd jobs and to earn some extra cash during their stay, or maybe he was the bouncer at the door of the club you were going to that night. He'll probably let you in...

For Jughead @serpentigena
"Any luck?" he asked, hoping that the other person recognized him as one of the Glitter Food's pilots. Granted, his question was mostly geared towards finding the supplies and parts they needed, but, hey... if anything else happened to come up in conversation, Keith had some interesting information to share.

“Sort of. Also, that depends where you're classifying strange and weirdly talkative aliens.”

Because of course Lark would be around when Keith was getting the blanket. Just walking by and catching sight of it. While there wasn't exactly disapproval in her tone, there was absolutely a question there. What in the world was that thing?
It looks... abnormal.

But she does reach out to touch it.
"Yes, it is quite soft."

"Yeah," he said. "It's uh... probably the only thing it's got going for it." He gave a dark chuckle. Then, he showed her the tag. "Apparently, some fans of the show made replicas of the real ones. The seller gave me this one since he recognized me." He shrugged. "Lance or Kosmo will like it... or Snow. They can fight over it." The pattern was... Well, it was something.

"Yeah, at least."
He tucked it under his arm for the moment.
"How's your luck been with finding what we need?" Hopefully better than his...

Which has been quite lucrative for her.

"I think I know a good spot to look." He'd drop the blanket off back on the ship later. For now, he was going to take Lark on a little tour and introduce her to the vendors that had reacted positively to his presence. A little "return" of their favor.

Because it's only fair.

He's grinning, looking over at the blanket that Keith had just received.]
Now that brings me back.

It had some logo that looked vaguely familiar in rewards to Drift Fleet.

[He hums, looking forward and peeking at the tag.]
Interesting...

Maybe they'll give you one, too.

[He can't help but tease as per their usual, and takes the blanket, hugging it to his chest. It's soft. Definitely a keeper.]
no subject
Just give them the puppy eyes.

[Lance takes Keith by the chin to force him to look him directly into his face, and puts on one of his best wibbly puppy eyes. It's not an uncommon look between them. At all.]
no subject
Yeah. Exactly like that.
[He smiled slightly.]

[Lance grins, giving him a brief kiss before letting go of his face.]

[Keith wrinkled his nose in protest.]
I can resist them.
