I Need Your Eyes- OTA

Jan didn't have a shopping partner today, and as much as she could enjoy shopping as a solo venture, right this minute she really needed another pair of eyes. (And hands. All these bags were getting to be a bit much to carry.)

But ah- a fellow kidnapee! Jan waved them over instantly and once they were close enough she spun around so they could get a full picture of the swim suit she was trying on.

"What do you think? Is it hitting right? They have it black too, but I was thinking a pop of colour might go better with the sand back home."


Other Worldly Petting Zoo (for Tony)

Excluding (or sometimes including) Jenn and Patsy, Tony was one of Jan's favourite shopping partners. They got each other, and it was fun for both of them, not a chore to be dragged along to like it was with Scott. She could listen him drone on and on about ants, but he couldn't sit still for five minutes of her discussing why these new shoes were entirely different from the rest of her collection. (AND an investment piece!)

So she was all ready quite pumped up from their afternoon of site seeing and shopping when she spotted something unexpected. Was that...some kind of zoo?? Maybe it was more of a petting zoo than a real zoo, but either way, Jan barely had to say a word, grabbing Tony by the wrist and eagerly dragging them to pay the entry fee.

"Maybe they'll have an other world version of a pony ride," she teased excitedly, as though she wouldn't eagerly pay to have either one of them perched on top of some strange creature and get some tacky photo as a memento.

Oh Steve. The very un-modest possibilities she could subject him to flash in her minds eyes, making her smirk. "Is this going to be a team thing, should we find matching ones for Tony and Not-Bucky too? Or is this our own little bit of fun?" she asks, all ready dragging him over to search through what she would deem menswear.

"Is Not-Bucky on the team?" he asks. "Mine - didn't um, want to be on it." But Steve's also not on his team anymore, so, he just wanted to know if on their planet, Bucky is an Avenger too.

"But sure, only if they want. Maybe Tony'd be up for it, at least." He can't imagine Tony saying no to Jan.

"Not-Bucky is actually Cap right now in my time/world. He fills out the suit almost as good as you do," she teases, "He's a bit of a grump, but I get it. Still working out the difference between him and this guy.

"Mmm, I can sweet talk Tony," she agrees, usually at least. She holds a few different shades up to judge them against Steve's skintone. "Have you done your whole Nomad schtick yet?" she asks, finding a shade that reminders her of that costume and grinning.

"Cap, huh? I did think about giving him the shield, but at home, I don't think he'd take it. Much more of something I'd give to Sam. Think he'd wear it without all the guilt."

Then he says: "Sure, I'm in that schtick right now." He doesn't know about the deep v or the 'somber tones'. "Lost the star to an old armor, don't have the means to get a better one. Well, until I came here. Tony made me new armor. He's so resourceful, isn't he?"

"Sam's a good choice," she agrees. Hell, let all three of them do it, a little trio of Caps, could the world even handle that?

Fishing around in her bag, Jan pulls out a measuring tape and very casually loops it around Steve to take measurement of his waist, lips quirking as she looks up and nods. "One thing you can count on across any reality. Tony'll always be able to make something from nothing. He's good like that."

"Looks like you're pretty resourceful too," he says, smiling. He hadn't expected to be measured but he says: "it's thirty-two. My chest is thirty-seven if you need it." He'd definitely gotten measured recently for some reason.

"I'm not getting anything bespoke, am I? Don't think I could pay you back for that."
