Radley at New Tick! | OTA

WHAT: New Tick and beyond

Radley is definitely surprised by the announcement of New Tick being held elsewhere. He could do without being compelled to get on the ship; he would certainly go of his own volition! He's been wanting to go on an actual space trip. He has things ready, food-wise.

The Agrii's village fascinates him. He loves learning about different cultures and is amazed to actually meet Agrii.

He is immediately suspicious of the candy after what happened at Thanksgiving and is not going to have any. He will probably casually warn others, but won't be able to get to everyone and/or some likely won't listen. When he sees what it does, he is WTH appalled and doesn't want it anywhere near him. Looks like he'll be baby-sitting for New Tick....

He is very happy with his gifts. It's been so long since he's been able to read The Lord of the Rings, and his recipe book is going to come in such handy! He's been wanting to try some different things with food.

The ice palace amuses and intrigues him. He has to go check it out, taking pictures with his network device and his phone both. (Will the pictures still be on his phone if he ever goes home? He can only hope. He would love to show Scotch.)

"What, was Elsa here at some point?" he smirks before going inside.

He actually tries out the acoustics in the place by singing Let It Go. Hey, he thinks he's alone and he can't resist. He has a very pleasant tenor voice. (Does anyone stumble on him?) When he finds he can't talk at all but has to sing everything, however, he'll probably be a lot less amused.

On the 17th, he definitely wants to visit the Agrii ship and will go aboard. Has he made any fans? He doesn't know. But he wants to explore and learn.

That had him think a moment.

"Makes me wonder how they always seem immune to their own stuff."

[crystalmaster]

"Like the weird candy? I wonder if they are. Interesting how I don't think we ever see them eat any," Radley mused.

A small sigh came out and he looked at Radley. "Think its some sort of set up?"

[crystalmaster]

"I can't figure out why, though," Radley said. "Unless they just wanna see how we handle it or some stupid reason like that."

That had him wonder. "Well I mean they're not human themselves right? Maybe we're just some..lab rats to them."

[crystalmaster]

"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised," Radley said with a dark smirk. "It sounds like that's how it is with that loco thing that happens in summer with everybody taken away and forced to explore each other's memories."

The king rolled his eyes and took a few steps around. "Ugh. It didn't happen to us, but I still really feel bad for those that it happened to. That really had to suck."

[crystalmaster]

"Yeah, no kidding," Radley frowns. And who knows, if it happens again, maybe they won't be so lucky as to avoid it. He still doesn't know why they weren't taken this past time.

"Gotta wonder if there's a way for everyone to avoid it." The king is pretty damn sure no one wants a repeat.

[crystalmaster]

"If I knew why a handful of us were left behind, we might have the answer," Radley sighs. "But I have no idea. Maybe we should get together and brainstorm, see if we can figure out any common denominator among those who got taken and those who didn't."

Noctis shook his head and looked directly at Radley. "That's not a bad idea at all. We should all have a meeting, or a town hall or whatever they would call it here."

[crystalmaster]

"We should," Radley muses. "Although we'll have to wait until everyone here is back to normal." He sighs.

The king nodded. "Ya, when normal is normal here."

[crystalmaster]

Radley laughed dryly. "Yeah. I've had to spend a lot of time baby-sitting."

[fatedsacrifice]

Noctis laughed in spite of himself.

"That's..one way to put it."

[crystalmaster]

"As long as those chocolates are working, it's pretty literal," Radley smirks darkly. "Hopefully this mess isn't permanent."

[fatedsacrifice]

"You've got a point." Noct replied with a shake of his head and a sigh. "Hopefully we didn't get anything lethal."

[crystalmaster]

"I don't think the Agrii would do anything like that, but I really have to question how they can think their candy recipes are a good idea."

[fatedsacrifice]

"Or anything of theirs really." Noct shrugged. "I suppose we'll find out one way or another."

[crystalmaster]

"I wonder if we will," Radley says with a dark smirk. "They don't seem very forthcoming with explaining things like that."

The king shook his head. "Might be interesting to find a way to make them talk somehow."

[crystalmaster]

"Oh, if there was a civil way to do that, I most certainly would," Radley said, still with the smirk.

[fatedsacrifice]

Even being a king, dead at thirty and being brought back to life in this place to figure out what the hell he was doing here hadn't shaken the little shit out of him.

"That almost sounds like a challenge."

[crystalmaster]

Radley chuckled. "Maybe I'll try to come up with a way in my spare time. If you think of anything, I'm up for hearing it."

"I'll do that. In the meantime you take care. And if you need anything let me know."
