[Network Video]
Good Morning I guess?
[Was it morning? Was it late at night? These thirty hour days were really messing up Robin's sense of time, especially with it being winter and all of that and the days being long and so many other things. But of course that's not relevant because, well... The video makes it very clear that she's not in a place that makes sense to be. There's a big icy and rocky wall behind her. This... is probably a problem?]
Two things? First, is there a way that we can edit that map thingy on these little devices? Like, maybe survey where all the really deep pits are in Temba and mark them on the map? Maybe put up cones around them as a warning? Actually, more maps sounds good. Maybe some of the ships too, because I got lost there a few times because they're so big.
[A Robin Buckley in stress will talk. A lot. Don't mind her. She's working up to it.]
As for the second thing...
[She turns the device to pan around the space she's in. Which is more stone. More ice. Then it tilts up to see the sky far above and the snow falling thickly down. Down into the hole that Robin has clearly fallen into.]
Also, can anyone, like, fly? I'm sorta trapped? Underground. In one of those holes. I'd tell you where but, you know, lack of map having them? Um. Help? Please? Soon? It's really cold and still snowing.

[Look at that, a picture of the map, updated with a little sad face. A small shower of snow is dislodged from above her as a round camera rolls perilously close to the edge.]
You're not hurt, are you? Got to have a few more falls in you. Someone has to find all of those pits, you're on the case already.

Is that a remote controlled car? Smart for scouting I guess. And, um, I'm not sure who Felwinter is. Or how to tell them where I am. I hope the frowning face thing helps.
And I don't know if I'm hurt. Haven't really tried to move around too much and the cold would deal with any swelling. But hey, seems like we found my additional talent. Languages, throwing things, ability to face monsters, and tripping into pits. Score?
no subject
You're really not saying a lot of reassuring words. Do you think there's swelling? That's a terrible thing to be doing on your own, more of a party game.
no subject
[Because she doesn't know what to do, at all.]
I don't know if there is swelling but I did fall, like, ten feet? And yeah, this is a new version of Twister I guess. Next time I'll drag Steve along with me.
no subject
Steve is extraordinarily good at Twister, not the sort of game you want to be up against him in. Unless your goal is to be up against him, then you'd be in exactly the right place, and it would probably be much more fun hole-spotting with him, too.
We barely have the place properly mapped as it is. You see my friend up there? He tries to keep an eye on the place, but it's more of a surface read, he can't see where the infrastructure is failing, plenty of places he can't get to. There has to be a better system.
Put some pressure on your right foot for me.
FMK: Sting, Madonna, Bono.

[Wait, give her a moment here.]
Steve? My Steve? I don't know. I feel like he'd trip over himself worse than I would at Twister. And I really don't need to be up against him. That'd be weird. We're Capital-P Platonic.
So the little thing up there is, uh, yours? Are you nearby then? DO you have a rope?
[She does move to try and put her weight on her right foot. It seems to work for now.]
Um, do I have to kill them? I guess kill Bono because his music is meh, fuck Sting because isn't he supposed to be really good, and uh, guess that means marry Madonna?
[Is that the right sort of answer for a straight girl? Listen, she just wants to marry Madonna because that's repeated 'snuggling'.]
no subject
I'm a bit of a hike, it's just you and him for the time being. Don't worry, he's a good listener. Try the left one now.
Of course you marry Madonna, that's the only real answer.
no subject
[She does try the left one and shifting the weight does leave her wincing in pain.]
Is it weird that now my right knee hurts? Probably. But I should keep moving, right? Because of the cold?
[No, wait, give her a moment. She has things to say on this.]
Madonna never chose to act in a movie where she wore a metal thong. Definitely wins. By it doesn't matter because women can't marry. So I would just live in her mansion. I bet she had a butler.
no subject
Don't worry about the cold, until you're worried about the cold. There'll be hot chocolate when you get back. Stop hurting yourself. You could be thinking about Madonna in a metal thong instead of Sting.
no subject
'The' drugs? Wow that is the most feigning concerned cool uncle line I've ever heard. Literally. I've heard it from concerned uncles who I know were getting stupidly high at Woodstock. But no, not now. This would be a terrible time for it.
[As for the cold, she's already worried about the cold, so she will proceed to be worried about the cold.]
Wait. Someone's hiding hot chocolate? I could almost claw my way out of here for hot chocolate. Almost.
[Okay, yes, she's thinking about Madonna in a thong. And the redness in her face is because she's cold, not because she's blushing.]
So I'm guessing Madonna's your F?
no subject
I guess if you're getting married, she's off the market.
no subject
[Truth or dare feels so damn close to what happened to them actually. Fuck, hard pass.]
Twister isn't bad, as a game. And clearly she's not marrying me.

Uh, no, it wasn't like that. I mean, Steve's parents didn't even come to town for a while after that. And we've never dated. We don't want to date.

For example, I'm going to tell my friend Eddie that you're a narc.
no subject
[Really? Robin doesn't look remotely impressed. It's not like she's actually 'narced' on anyone here. EVERYONE knew back home that Eddie was the local drug dealer.]
You're a cop now?
