Very well. Now that we have dealt with the pests some of you appear to have brought in without letting the rest of us know and thereby preventing us from being properly prepared in advance, let's do a little show and tell: What other potential threats from the home worlds of anyone present are there and what is the most effective way of taking them out? I want serious replies only.
Private to Tony
Stark, I have a task for you.

He’s sticking to video, thanks.
I need you to build a device. Small. Portable. Designed for those among us that can’t or refuse to fight. A defense mechanism or shield that allows them to reach safety or help when none is nearby.
I know you are capable of coming up with something suitable.

[ Ah, sarcasm. ]
Unless, of course, you are merely one of those that are convinced nurses, teachers and schoolchildren should go about their day and work carrying a loaded weapon rather than creating a safe environment for them.
Whichever the case, I disagree. You have a week to design a prototype.

Good thing he was texting
You’re a menace.
Video
One, the greatest threat to my world is already here, but I haven't heard from him lately so I think he might have been eaten by monsters. What a shame.
Two, in the interest of fairness, you too, of course, are obligated to share your world's potential threats. Let's get to it, chop chop.
And three, are you seriously blaming people here for something the storm did? Like it's definitely alarming that the storms can apparently hit us with stuff from our own worlds, but by the sounds of it, this is a new thing? It's not like anyone could have expected it!
Video
One: No one asked about your personal feuds with one that is part of our group. Like it or not, we all share the same goal.
Two: Greed, corruption, ignorance. Of which at least one is already very present here as well.
Three: No. I am not blaming them for the storm. I am blaming them for withholding important information. Information I specifically asked for during Calibrations. Having those ahead of time would have left us actually prepared. Especially since this place has a history of importing threats from other worlds.
But I am not here to clarify myself. Which danger of your world could potentially feature in the next invasion?
Video
Two, that's super vague. Everyone's world has those things.
Three... I-- okay, fair, I guess. I wasn't there for Calibrations. IN that case, yeah, withholding info is pretty crap.
You know what, I'm just gonna make you a list and send it your way, because there's kind of a lot where I'm from. Just don't write it off as cartoon stuff just because it can't happen where you're from.
Video
I don't care how cartoonish it sounds. We all witnessed what this place is capable of and I will do what I can to prepare a versatile arsenal with what data I have. Obviously we can't just give everyone a weapon. So aside from being able to fight, we need to be able to defend and prepare safe spaces.

Okay, so, if the info back home is right, these things I'm thinking of are supposed to be dormant for the next 5,000 years. But just in case they're wrong, I'll tell you what I saw about them on the news.
Apparently there's this cult called the Dark Signers. They wanna conquer the world, plunge it into the Netherworld, all that kinda jazz. And they use these sentient monsters of the Nazca Lines from Peru. Do you have those in your world? They're huge geoglyphs in the ground. There's a hummingbird, a lizard, a giant, all kinds of stuff.
Unfortunately, the only ones who could beat them, according to the news, is a group called the Signers. They have to be chosen by something called the Crimson Dragon. They get some special powerful monsters to beat the Dark Signers' Earthbound Immortal monsters. And all these battles have to be played out in a card game called Duel Monsters. I know it sounds loco, but yeah. People play a card game to save the world.
It all sounds like something out of a tabloid, so part of me isn't sure whether to believe it, but I did see a skyscraper come down because of two of the Earthbound Immortals. And I saw something coming towards the City that looked like some kind of demon or devil. It apparently got sealed back up after the Signers won a card game against the Dark Signers' leader. So ... yeah. That was terrifying.
Video
At least as far as Wesker is concerned. Since it makes his work a lot easier. What it doesn't make easier, however, is wrapping his head around the concept he is presented here. ]
I am familiar with the Nazca Lines, but it is news to me that they can be used to summon any monsters.
[ Different worlds, different rules, isn't it? ]
Aside from card games, are there some more conventional ways of dealing with these creatures?
Re: Video
... That's a good question, though.... If it's really true that the Signers and the Dark Signers square off every 5,000 years, there couldn't have been a card game in their last battle. I don't know how they fought that last one. Maybe with the actual monsters on both sides? There's also stories in my world about the creator of Duel Monsters being inspired by ancient carvings that showed the monsters had been real and roaming everywhere. Sometimes there's exhibits in the City showing some of these carvings.
Video
[ That sounds like there is some sort of magic involved if he is to judge. ]
Do you believe you can recognize these creatures should they show up here?

Dr. Wesker, are you positing that individuals who are brought here can also bring calamities from their worlds as well?
What I am saying is that those that bring us here have access to our worlds already. If they can bring us here, they also can bring anyone or anything else here from those same places.

Instead, I've been working on a project that might benefit everyone should things go...topsy-turvy again...

[ Yes, he can accept a non-combatant to stay at a safe space. ]
What kind of project?
