[Video] PSA don't become snack

Time for a spontaneous PSA! The video starts with a perhaps overly confident looking Sonic, giving his best finger gun to the camera.

"Hey everyone, Sonic here!"

The video remains on Sonic, who looks like he has more to say, but he's cut off by the voice of Donnie Ninjaturtle from offscreen who doesn't sound all that thrilled with the current shenanigans.

"Oh my g- you can't just- Sonic, you turn that thing off right now-" Putting on the parent voice, even!

"Shh, Donnie! I got this, be cool!" Sonic waves his hand in a shooing motion in Donnie's general direction before turning his attention back to his very stupid video.

"Okay everyone, listen up! I have it on good authority that someone out there has decided that eating us is socially acceptable. This is not the case. It is, in fact, very not okay!"

After a mental keymash, the turtle flails before making a grab for the hedgehog's communicator. "Not okay, this is not okay- are you seriously doing a PSA?!"

Unfortunately for Donnie, the hedgehog is small and fast, and in the blink of an eye he's suddenly standing behind the poor turtle.

"I don't see anyone else doing a PSA! How are we supposed to know there's someone dangerous out there if nobody's talking about it? Guys, be on the look out for-- uh...

"A girl.

"With. Teeth? It's uh. Not a lot to go on, is it. You really don't have anything else?"

There is a thud as Donnie had more or less made a full-on lunge and completely neglected to take into account the hedgehog's speed.

"-and ow."

He gets back up, brow twitching as he looks back at Sonic before his irritation abruptly melts into uncertainty at being put on the spot. "Wearing a dress or something? Covered in blood?" He gives an overexaggerated shrug.

Sonic at least isn't turning the communicator around to film Donnie, so he doesn't have to worry about looking like a goof on camera. The expression on Sonic's face, though, is one of realization, like it's just dawned on him that he has absolutely no plan here. It's fine, that's basically how he does everything.

"...Okay. Look out for the girl who looks like she's from every horror movie with a scary girl in it ever. You can't miss her.

"Aaaand if she happens to be listening--"

Yeah he's absolutely about to challenge her to a weird fight.

Cue Donnie dragging his hands over his face. At least until he hears that lead-in. He may not be Sonic-fast or vampire-fast but he is a ninja and with proper motivation can be fairly fast. Which is why he's on his feet and scrambling up beside his annoying pal to try throwing a hand over his mouth or his face. He needs to stop doing things with his injured one, honestly.

"-no, no! That is it! You said you would not!"

Sonic's too focused on trash talking to dodge Donnie this time, eyes going a bit wider when a turtle hand suddenly clamps over his mouth. They stay wide as Donnie reminds him that he SURE DID say he wasn't going to fist fight a terrifying girl, and he fumbles a bit to turn off his communicator. Oops, haha. It's fine, he made his PSA, that's definitely all that happened.

[Time to see if being stupid and stubborn is enough to fight MIND POWERS! So far it seems to be, let's see how this goes.]

Well that's not sus at all. Did my very vague description of girl with teeth ring a bell, perchance?

[He's never tried it on an animal before, but he doesn't see why it shouldn't work, pushing that idea firmly into the forefront of his target's mind.]

Remove it now and be grateful the diner doesn't serve your kind along the rest.

[Oh the idea is there. He considers it for a moment, might still be considering it, but also there's a guy tryin' to tell him what to do and Sonic ain't havin' it.]

Look, buddy. I don't know who you are, I don't know who mystery girl with teeth is, all I know is that someone attacked my friend and that's no good. I'm not gonna just sit here and let people get hurt. If you don't like it, you can come at me, bro!

[and here we see Sonic making smart choices!]

[Smart choices indeed. There's a tense and dangerous smile, the stranger shutting off his feed. He may have taken that as a challenge.]

[Technically Sonic's the one who posted it but this is still a very particular reaction to get.]

Wh-why...

[The glare's pretty intense even from a screen.]

Because it would be in your best interest.

[If you thought the little girl was scary imagine what it'll be like to take on a full grown man.]

[No he'd rather not consider that.]

Is it now?

...are you two related?

If we were, it sounds like it might be a good idea to get this taken down before someone were to consider it a threat...

[His brow furrows at that, but he gulps at the implications.]

Oh... Um.

That. Is an excellent point.

Well, this one wasn't a girl. had blonde hair, slim and kinda an accent? He ambushed me in the warrens and was annoyed he couldn't drink from me because I'm kinda poisonous like that was somehow my fault.

Oooooh... Haha. Um. So I think I mighta just talked to that guy?

And told him to come at me?

I'm sure it'll be fine.

[ Be glad this is voice because he is giving the communicator a LOOK. ]

In fairness, I also threatened to kick his ass if he hurt anyone else.

[He's a little worried.]

I don't know if he's hurt anyone else? Buuut he sure did get mad when I brought up this girl chomping on Donnie.

well yeah, 'cause now everyone that sees this will know to be on their guard.

... So exactly how do you know this? Did this girl attack you or Donatello?

[Knuckles isn't terribly impressed with Sonic's description, but at least Donnie added a bit more detail. At the moment he's not sure whether it's really something to worry about or not. Maybe the main thing to worry about is that they're broadcasting this bizarre PSA.]

Nah, nah, I'm fine. She attacked Donnie, he said she tried to eat him. Which is, y'know, alarming? He didn't get a good look at her. I-- listen, I'm working with limited intel, here.

[Man the detail Donnie added was BLOODY DRESS. Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll be wearing the same thing every day, so she'll be easy to spot!]

[Knuckles doubts she'll be wearing the same thing, unless this just happened and there was no time to change. He can hope for that, at least.]

Did it just happen?

No, he's had time to get bandaged up, at least. And then decided it was a good idea to strut around out here while injured without saying anything about it! And I thought my survival instincts were bad!

[he did just tell an angry, very creepy man to come at him. It's a wonder Sonic is alive at all at this point.]

[Knuckles sighs in exasperation.]

If she knows you're warning everyone, she'll no doubt quickly change out of that dress if she hadn't already.

How bad is Donatello hurt?

Do what am I supposed to do, then? Not tell anybody? Maybe this way she'll think twice before jumping people!

[Hopefully. Maybe. I guess we'll see!]

Can't really see the damage with all the bandages, but he seems okay? His hand's a little messed up, and she went for the neck, too. Real creepy, if you ask me.
