Back to the Diner

1. Diner

Radley is so relieved to be back on the surface and relieved that the city is relatively safe. He immediately goes to the diner to inspect things there and bring back the utensils he had taken. He starts making a list of everything he wants to get back in stock as quickly as possible. After he gets what he wants, he'll probably be there way into the night, so happy to be back where he feels he belongs while he's here.


2. Replicator

Radley has to come here for some of what he wants. He decides to start small and prays that the replicator is working properly even after the eruption.

"Hopefully I won't get peanut butter everything," he mutters to himself and anyone in hearing range.


3. Greenhouse

Radley comes here to gather plants. He stays alert, examining everything and looking to see if anyone else is here too. He's relieved to see everything's been watered. He's sure Tommy will be happy too.

The king nodded, a movie might be a good thing to have here once in awhile. And he'd never ask for one either, because with his luck it would turn out to be a horrible movie.

"Do you need some help?" This was of course a genuine offer, but it might help keep his mind off of other things that he didn't want to deal with right now.

Radley has never thought of trying to ask, but he imagines that if Scotch were here, he would try to get everybody to act out a movie instead of asking for an existing one. He smirks a bit at the thought.

The query snaps him back to the present. "Sure, that'd be great," he says. He also likes to do things to get his mind off of things he doesn't want to think about.

Noct smiled. "When did you want to get started?" The sooner the better really, but he wasn't going to push.

Everything seemed so overwhelming right now and he didn't want to rush anyone in any attempt to straighten things out.

"Maybe tomorrow?" Radley suggests. "Today I've still got things to do here at the diner."

[fatedsacrifice]

"Alright." That was accompanied with a nod. "If you've got stuff to do, then we'll meet up tomorrow. Let me know a time and a place to meet up and I'll be there."

[crystalmaster]

"Just come to the hotel and we'll see what we can do with it," Radley says. "Maybe around 10 or 11?"

The king nodded.

"Alright, I'll be there ready to work. I'm sure if we put effort in we'll get things going in a good direction."

[crystalmaster]

"I think so too," Radley smiled. "That usually worked back home when we were building."

[fatedsacrifice]

Noctis cocked his head to the side. "What were you guys building back home?"

Curious king is curious.

[crystalmaster]

"Homes," Radley smiles. "And businesses. We built a whole town from the ground up."

[fatedsacrifice]

"Homes." Noct repeated softly. "That's pretty impressive, on top of building a whole town."

That had him thinking.

"Wish I knew how to do that."

[crystalmaster]

Radley nods, looking proud. "We worked pretty hard. They're good skills to have. I can put up walls, but electricity and plumbing are not my thing."

Noctis would more than likely delegate something like that to Ignis, to find an architect and then find builders.

Being a king sometimes had its perks. But right now, something like that in a place like this seemed to show a lack of character on his part.

"That's so awesome. How did you learn something like that?"

[crystalmaster]

Radley felt the same. He was a leader back home, but here he didn't feel like trying to pull rank on anyone. He wasn't in charge here.

"Mostly out of necessity. We had to build things, and I wanted to be useful. And there were some people I didn't trust to do it right."

That had him thinking. "You've met Reeve Tuesti, right? He's always got some sort of building project going on. And speaking of, I should probably check on him since..everything that happened."

[crystalmaster]

"Yeah, I have. I've tried to help some with the building projects. I imagine I'll be spending more time at that in the future. I'm usually pretty busy with the diner, though. That's a good idea to check on him. I take him food a lot."

[fatedsacrifice]

[Noct nodded, it was nice to hear that Reeve was being looked after.]

He's the type of guy who wouldn't ask for help. So keeping an eye on him is a good idea.

[crystalmaster]

Yeah, I definitely got that impression. That, and his kitty said so.

[The king's head shook.]

That cat knows what its talking about.

[crystalmaster]

Yeah. I try to make sure I check in with him as much as possible.

Good idea, I should get on that too just in case.

[crystalmaster]

It couldn't hurt.
