[What's up, kids. Hope you like THE SKY, because this video opens just starin' right up at it. Not for too long, though, as the guy responsible for this dumb video realizes pretty quickly that he's holding his device backwards and flips it around, revealing a weird blue critter that appears to be laying on his back on a roof. Why??? I mean why not. Y'all are in the mood for a bitchy teenager, right? Well too bad.]

Okay, I'm about to make a less than great first impression to anyone I haven't already bumped into yet, but sometimes you just gotta complain into the void, y'know? Here goes;

[he pauses to clear his throat, and then commences the bitching]

So, I can deal with being kidnapped by aliens, right? That's fine, I guess. Happens to the best of us, keeps life interesting, whatever. I can roll with the unexpected. I can mostly tolerate being tossed onto a dumpy, abandoned planet with extremely limited travel options. I mean, that's less fine than being kidnapped by aliens, but at least this tiny chunk of space we have doesn't have any speed limits. Fine, I can cope.

But, the thing about this that's completely unacceptable is that apparently, I missed a big fight with a bunch of monsters? Seriously!? I've seen movies, aliens aren't supposed to abduct you after the danger's passed. Where's the fun in that? Do our alien overlords accept feedback? I wanna file a complaint!

[Maybe this guy's priorities are just a little skewed. It's fine. He sighs, a little overly dramatic (because missing a monster fight is absolute bullshit), the video jostling a bit as he shrugs.]

Ah well. Anyway! The name's Sonic. I guess if you guys need help with cleanup after all that, hit me up? I have nothing but free time on my hands right now, and I'm already bored out of my mind.

Guess it's a good thing I don't really wear a lot of clothes, then. I usually just end up puttin' holes in 'em. Anyway, I'll go check the store out and see what I can find. Need me to look for anything else while I'm there?

Not particularly? Well...maybe something to use as a dust mask, and a duster or a something to use for inside these things.

[unless he manages to get hopelessly lost somehow. He takes off to go loot the store, accidentally leaving a big cloud of dust in his wake. At least it's outside their time? Anyway, he'll be back soonish.]

[With that kind of an exit, Donnie's not left with much time to respond except to start choking on dust again. THANKS DUDE]

[That's how Sonic DO.

It's actually about an hour before Sonic returns, but only for a moment. He's making a few trips back and forth between the store and the arcade since he has tiny arms and can't really carry everything all at once. Eventually he comes back into he arcade with some of his loot]

I couldn't find any masks, but I think I found some kinda coffee filters. That might work, right?

[In the meantime Donnie's gone back in to have another look at the rest of the equipment there. Unfortunately he hasn't found anything to change his initial assessment, but he's started noting which of them are in slightly better condition than others.

He looks over as little by little a collection of cleaning supplies seems to appear by the doorway. Man, that guy's fast. When Sonic finally returns himself, Donnie pulls himself out of the back of one of the cabinets he's gotten turned around and started poking around out of boredom.]

Coffee filters? Well, I guess they'd technically work.

[The real reason Sonic doesn't complain about cleaning: He'll have it all done fast as shit. Well, maybe he'll slow down a bit just so he'll have something to do for a little while. He hasn't decided yet.]

I figure since they can filter coffee grounds, they can filter dust too. I'm just not really sure how to, y'know, attach them to our faces.

[Definitely good to know someone's around who's super fast at clean up and doesn't seem to mind. It'll save Donnie the necessity of building a roomba!]

No, no- that's perfectly reasonable. Attachment does seem to be the main problem in this case. I'd say string- that'd be the most obvious thing. You didn't happen to see any at the store, did you?

[aw dang Sonic's played himself, now he's the world's fastest janitor.]

Hm... I don't remember seeing any, but I can go back and check real quick?

[At least he won't have an excuse being bored with nothing to do!]

You do that, I'll try thinking up alternatives that don't involve gluing them to our faces.

[This is a very good point! Until he gets the whole town cleaned up, at least...]

Yeah, no, glue and fur don't really make a great combination. I'll be right back.

[And off he goes! When he said he'd be right back he really meant it, He returns after a few minutes carrying a small collection of long stringy things with him. A spool of what might be fishing line, some fabric scraps, a random assortment of wires for some reason. We totally got this.]

How about this stuff?

[Donnie blinks at that.]

Man you are fast.

-But okay, this looks promising! Let's see...

[This isn't exactly a technical problem in the usual sense that he handles things, but it's hardly outside of his ability. He sits down and sets to work after studying the materials on hand, picking up a couple of coffee filters and using one of the pointy bits of his tech-bō to make holes in the ends once he folds them over.

He uses some wire to thread through the holes and make something to attach a proper strap from, seeing as how Sonic's got some interesting things going on behind his head and Donnie has no ears to hook anything over. This is where the fabric scraps and fishing line come in as he winds the latter around pieces of the former for a makeshift cord, and once he has several of them he ties one end of each around the wire loops on the filters.]

Aaaand voilà!

[His name's Sonic for a reason! He does a little bow, and then settles in to watch Donnie work on his coffee filter masks.]

Nice! I was worried this junk wasn't gonna be of much use, but you sure proved me wrong!

That's what I do! Anyway!

[He holds a mask out to Sonic before tying the other around his own face.]

This should work just fine.

[yeah yeah fine you can have that brag. Sonic takes the mask and ties it on, and now they both look like weirdos with coffee filters strapped to their faces.]

Nice. Time to put these things to the test!

[He starts to gather up some of his cleaning supplies. Time to go kick up more dust!]

[At least they won't die from the dust. In this case Donnie will make an exception for looks in favor of practicality.

He gives Sonic a thumbs up. Go forth and conquer, sir hedgehog!]
