Different Things To Save
WHO: Lark, Noctis, Link
WHERE: Livestock Nursery, Somewhere in Eastern Temba
WHAT: Lark needs saved from monsters, and later Links tunic needs saved from stains
WHEN: Beginning and end of monster hunts
WARNINGS: N/A
I. Rescued In Time | Closed to Noctis
Earth trembles weren't so strange a thing that they immediately roused Lark from sleep when they were so... limited. She's survived a great earthquake in recent memory, so he wasn't shocked to have slept through whatever was going on now. That she'd managed to slip to the pens where the glownies were kept, where the creatures whickered with distress with something else.
Apparently she'd been lucky enough to make her way over when the Bearger was wandering elsewhere, but now she could see the thing looming in the distance.
"Oh dear," she said, her voice a touch concerned. That was... a bit larger than most things she'd had to defend herself against in the past. What was she to do?
II. What Are You Wearing? | Closed to Link
Truly this had been quite the experience, hadn't it? Monsters terrorizing the city on quite this scale was a new one for her, and Lark was a bit emotionally shaken. But she had been gotten out of the main area of risk and sent off to find her own shelter. Something she was coming out of now that the power was back and people seemed to be reporting success on the network.
"What a dreadful thing that was," she said with a sigh as she straightened herself a bit and stepped out onto the street. She needed to check in on people, be certain they were okay. And make more bandages if needed.
If only she knew where to find them.

"This setting lets you trust the machine. It senses the humidity. When it senses that it's low, it will buzz to tell you that it's all done. And that's it. Once it's done they will be warm, they will smell pleasant, and they will be ready to use or fold.

"How long?" he asks. Will he need to keep exploring the ship for a while longer?

This time, however, he doesn't go back to exploring the ship. Mainly because he's already done that, to the point where there really isn't anything left to explore.
So instead Link just finds a clear space in the middle of the ship's common area, and starts moving through a series of well-practiced forms with his sword.
He'll do this until it's time to go back to the dryer.

"Come, let us see how they have gone."
no subject
Once there, he opens up the machine and looks inside. Sure enough, the clothes are completely dry - something that Link takes a moment to marvel at, as he holds the garments.
no subject
"So, pleased?"
no subject
"Thank you."
no subject
"You're welcome. Though if you have something of wool, it is better to dry it on a line so it does not shrink."
no subject
Now, though, he’s spent more than enough time in one place. And his clothes are done. So he starts to change into them.
He doesn’t bother to hide from Lark or go elsewhere to change though, which might be a little awkward.
no subject
"Once you're changed, will you tell me about what happened?"
no subject
As he pulls on his shirt, however, he pauses briefly. Lark wants to...keep talking? But he had been starting to get antsy, after having to spend all that time waiting in the ship...
"...About the giant bird deer?"
they can ftb the telling so that there isn't stress over it
IT deserved to be remembered, and she was one of the few here who could do it in the way she thought was appropriate for the gods.
No stress! Link is just antsy, haha
“Giant bird-moose. Was evil. Me and Cayde killed it.”
That’s enough of an explanation, right? It must be. He’s covered all the important bits.
that's fair. she's probably going to let him go then.
"Go on then. Leave the robe, I'll need to set it aside for another time."
