Bishop
The music is strange, like nothing Poe's ever heard before, but it compels him along with the rest, and he finds himself boarding one of the ships. When the engines spring to life it seems to awaken something in Poe. That's a feeling he hasn't felt since he'd first been grounded here.
But try as he might he can't change the ship's course, nor can he find a way to get a message out. He takes some of his frustration out with a kick to the hull, but that only nets him a sore foot, and eventually he forces himself to settle and pass the time with his new cohorts.

BB Poe
(For reference: This and This by Albindraws

Of course Poe had been tempted by the chocolate, not that he could remember that now, a small curly haired child of about eight, looking about in confusion and in far too big clothes. The patch on the arm of his jacket is familiar, and that's his mother's ring around his neck still, but he has no idea how he's wound up in this place.

A bit of searching and he finds some more suitably sized (though strange) clothing, and steps outside to find a world of white. He's never seen snow in person before, and even in his confused state his eyes widen in wonder.

He approaches anyone he can spot asking-

"Have you seen my father?"
"I'm looking for Kes? Kes Dameron? Or L'ulo L'ampar? Anyone...?"
"I need to get back to Yavin 4, can you help me?

Fun in the Snow

Poe's rounded up a small group of kids and broken them into teams for a snow fight. Each squadron breaks off to build a base camp, and Poe remarks, "We need call signs," as he builds up one of the walls. "I'll be Green On- uh...Leader. Green Leader," he corrects, "Who wants to be Green Two?"

Snow is COLD

The snow very quickly looses it's appeal. Poe's never been so cold in his life, and after playing outside in the snow for so long he's soaked through and shivering, in desperate need of warming up.

Back to normal

Eight days later, and Poe is back to his normal self, and luckily he's able to remember where he stashed his clothes. Adult Poe is more better prepared to handle the cold than his younger counter part, and might still be wanting to start up another snow ball fight, only this time with higher stakes.

He returns to the ships more than once to see if he can get them to work, but as ever they remain unyielding to his best efforts.

[OOC: Feel free to find him anywhere/anytime not mentioned and write your own starter for them, just specify if it's during the child or adult portion of the event]

"A holo simulator? We learn from our failures back in the world I come from. We do not have such things to teach us how to do things. Sometimes we are in the dark with theories and hope that our theories are enough for us to achieve. I'm sure someone on my ship already knows how to fly one of these things. If they somehow get hurt and can not provide that skill, I will do my best to keep the ship in the air."

He nods knowing full well that he isn't about to let people die for something that can be avoided. He wants to know the basics in case an emergency happens. Anything could happen and he wanted to be a little bit prepared. "I'll be sure to keep all of this in mind. I do not want to get anyone killed or hurt by accidentally touching something in a panic. How long have you been flying?"

"That's rather clever and useful. Obviously with trial and error, there are people who already know how to use a ship. You would want to seek them out in order to learn prior to actually using. Supervision is always there too. But not all knowledge is known or used, especially when it comes to magic or technologies that no one quite understands how they are used." He smiles at hearing the tale of how Poe learned from his mother. It seems like not too many people get taught the old fashioned way back on his world. Yet, on Eorzea and Norvrandt that's all it's been.

"Six? That's a really young age to start learning such things. I'm sure you had a lot of fun though. As I said about learning from people, you would be a good choice to learn piloting skills from if you've truly been learning all of your life. Trusted to know the ins and outs. Being an instructor or teacher. I can't give much in return besides for telling tales of hope for those in need of it. I'm not sure what role I'll be playing while being here."

Crystal Exarch studied Poe's face at his response. He thinks back on what was said while looking at him with a soft gaze. "I'm sure your mother taught you will enough. As all parents should." For him though, he didn't even know much his own parents. He did know of his heritage.

"Determination may be all that we need. Hope might be another since people may start to turn to doubt and darkness could grow within their hearts. If we were brought here by a portal, a rift, any of that sort would require a great deal of magic. Being able to travel through time and space takes a lot of effort and can drain any one soul." The Agrii could be powerful enough to do that. But if it's an outside technology far more advanced than what he knew it would be difficult to learn it. "I do agree. We should stand together and help each other as much as we're able to. I would like to return the favor of helping you when you do need it. Even if it's something small."

Research of the unknown is something he's used to. But if they can't read the things that the Agrii may have left behind then it'll be difficult. If only specific people can operate machinery the challenge would be to work with them. Time will play against anyone.

"I do appreciate the time you have given." He gives a small smile. "How do you feel about being here?"
