Good day all. Spring seems to have come and I would like to do a minor recruitment. This is a good season for building, and if you wish to assist it would be appreciated.

First, I need help with making bricks, a good bit of them. I have supplies and instructions, and will happily accept takers who want to assist Mini with them. The good news is that it's quite possible to talk while doing it, so it can be a social thing if you wish.

Second, there's that hole at The Deep End that needs properly patched. I have the supplies, they were prepared this winter. I need assistants in moving them, and in patching. This one is potentially a touch more dangerous, so keep that in mind.

Finally, after what happened with the blizzard, I feel it is important for us to make emergency supply boxes and stock them. I would appreciate volunteers to help me construct, place, and fill the things. We'll need blankets, first aid supplies, non-perishable food, and of course means of starting fires or building temporary shelters.

Please respond with any potential interest you have. Forgive me if there are any delays in my response, I'm currently working on bricks with Mini.

[It takes some time to get samples of various sizes out. Some are common, like printer paper. Some are more like legal. Some are clearly just paper cut from sketchpads of various sizes.]

Help yourself.

So how did you get so much paper?

[plate_builder]

Every time we go off planet, I buy paper. One of my replicator rations every month is paper.

[Paper, coffee, and whatever writing utensils he's low on.]

Architect and engineer and once bureaucrat, I sort of run on paper.

Oh, that's handy. How often do you go off-world?

[plate_builder]

It seems to occur a few times a year, but it's not always the same amount or regularity.

[crystalmaster]

Huh. That figures. What kinds of places do you go to?

[plate_builder]

We've been to worlds supposedly associated with members of our number. There have been... clues.

[crystalmaster]

Clues? Like to solve our mystery?

[plate_builder]

Indeed. Clues to help us understand Temba on Risa. Clues we didn't understand about until later about the use of Sh'Ka on the homeworld of the Graq. Clues about affect the Atroma likely have on our lives even now on Coruscant. And on Eorzea, some pieces of stone with a painted mural on it. I hear some people are trying to talk to the creatures that made it.

That sounds really cool. Maybe eventually we'll have enough to put all the pieces together.

[He hopes he can go on the next trip and that it will be helpful too. Although ...]

... So are these places dangerous?

That is the hope, in time. That we can use it to figure out what the Atroma are up to, help the Agrii, and go home.

[Dangerous? Reeve shrugged.]

We seem mostly safe in those places unless we seek danger.

... Well, that's good. But is collecting the clues dangerous?

[plate_builder]

I have not known it to be.

[Radley finally relaxed.]

[Of course, he'd figure he'd have to help even if it was, but it's nice to not have to worry about it.]

I think on Eorzea a number were available for quests or the casino.

[He didn't know about the ones people had to battle their way toward.]

The casino? So people could just kick back and gamble? What'd they even use for money?

[plate_builder]

There were credits I think. I mostly bet on the chocobo races if I'm honest, as those are common back home too.

[crystalmaster]

Chocobo? What are those?

[plate_builder]

Large birds. I'm told they are used in our world as an equivalent animal to something known as a 'horse'.

[crystalmaster]

I have horses in my world. Wow, those birds must be giants.

[He pictured people riding around on Big Bird.]

They aren't that large. I mean, there are far larger avian types in my world.

[Big bird would be SLIGHTLY too big.]

[crystalmaster]

[This caused even more of a stare.]

Really?! Are they used for traveling too?

[plate_builder]

Oh no. Those are monsters that want to hunt people.
