Good day all. Spring seems to have come and I would like to do a minor recruitment. This is a good season for building, and if you wish to assist it would be appreciated.

First, I need help with making bricks, a good bit of them. I have supplies and instructions, and will happily accept takers who want to assist Mini with them. The good news is that it's quite possible to talk while doing it, so it can be a social thing if you wish.

Second, there's that hole at The Deep End that needs properly patched. I have the supplies, they were prepared this winter. I need assistants in moving them, and in patching. This one is potentially a touch more dangerous, so keep that in mind.

Finally, after what happened with the blizzard, I feel it is important for us to make emergency supply boxes and stock them. I would appreciate volunteers to help me construct, place, and fill the things. We'll need blankets, first aid supplies, non-perishable food, and of course means of starting fires or building temporary shelters.

Please respond with any potential interest you have. Forgive me if there are any delays in my response, I'm currently working on bricks with Mini.

That is wonderful to hear. It would be useful to have that help. There is so much work to do and so few of us.

Ya no kidding. But I'll get on it and we'll see what we can get done.

There seemed to be a lot of people here from so many backgrounds but at least he could do what he could to help.

Noctis nodded. How did that saying go back home? Many hands made light work or something? Well he wasn't going to quote it since he wasn't sure of it. "You need help right now, right?"

Yes, that sounds about accurate. Or would had it been said.

"For bricks, yes. Otherwise there is some delay necessary."

Noctis nodded his head. "Okay. So I'm meeting you at the Deep End?"

[plate_builder]

"After I have suitable bricks, there. But for now I'm going to be working near the floodplain, for the good materials for brick making."

[fatedsacrifice]

Noctis nodded.

"I'm on my way then."

[plate_builder]

"Wonderful. I'll make sure Mini brings over more frames for us to work with."

[fatedsacrifice]

"Alright that works."

That had him wonder.

"You're getting plenty of help with this, right?"

[plate_builder]

"Not as much as you would think," Reeve admitted with a brief shrug. "Not everyone agrees with my desire to build."

[fatedsacrifice]

"This place needs building and repair, it's fortunate to have you here." the king replied with a shrug. It was the least that they could do here. The Agrii didn't seem to worry about it one way or another so he was just happy to help.

Perhaps they were. Perhaps they were not. But Reeve intended to keep up his work. It was, at his core, who he was.

"I'm glad you think so. And I will be glad for aid in the work."

Noctis noted that Reeve didn't comment, but he wasn't going to let it bother him.

"I'm almost there, so hold on a few more minutes."

A few more minutes would be fine.

"I'll hold as long as you wish."

Noctis smiled. "Appreciate it."

But he was there as fast as he could. Of course he warped around to get there that much faster and looked around once he'd reached his destination.

As he looked around, his blue eyes noted the work that had been started. "Seems like a big project."

"Quite," Reeve said with a smile. His hands are almost caked with the muddy-clay he's using to pack his molds. This was something that was a bit messy, and hopefully Noctis was okay with that.

"Building a place for ourselves, one step at a time."

He had to smile. Reeve was a visionary or at least a hopeful man with this building thing. It would give a solid anchor to those that might come after and this place never seemed to be running out of new recruits.

"I think I like the sound of that."

"I am glad," Reeve said with a smile, rising and stretching. "I need to fetch myself another bucket of the clay.

"You do that, I'll see what I can do in the meantime."

And his eyes scanned things, getting himself ready to get started.

Reeve smiles and nods, gesturing to the supplies he already has.

"IT's not complicated. Pack clay firmly into the molds. Then open the mold to leave the brick to be to cure. I'll be quick in my fetching. And thank you, Noctis."

The king nodded. This was easier in his mind than growing the detested vegetables he had to do. And less dangerous than the quests and hunts they used to be set upon.
