I'm working on cleaning up/clearing out more of the hospital. I was wondering if anyone either wanted to lend a hand, or if there was any um...I dunno, 'features' you'd like to see here? Stuff to make it more comfortable? Needs that aren't being addressed?
Private Message for Tony
How are you with locks?
[He turns the camera to point at a complicated looking lock located somewhere in the hospital, and then back at himself with a pointed frown.]
Private Message for Tommy
You literally have super speed, why are your clothes all over the floor?
Private Message for Soldier
Super important question- Coffee? Tea? Or Hot Chocolate? Which is the correct choice?
[Billy tries to maintain a very serious expression. He is not succeeding.]

Do you have any experience with lab work?

Really? Do you think- I mean...would you be interested in helping us out? Or even just helping me set up what we're missing. But it would be great to have someone here who actually had a background in...anything even kind of related to this.

[ How else can he ensure everything he needs will be present? ]
video
Um, great then. We could definitely use someone like you. If you ever want to swing by I can show you what we do have set up and then maybe we can go from there?

[ Just a small nod and Wesker cuts the connection.
It's not a terribly long walk from the diner - which has coffee - over to the hospital indeed and even without rushing the man's generally long strides take him there in no time. When he spots the boy from the video, Wesker nods his greeting and introduces himself at last. ]
Dr. Albert Wesker, at your service.

Billy tidies up and heads out front, trying to self-talk his confidence back up. He offers a wave as Wesker approaches, and feels a rush of relieve just at hearing that title. Doctor. Tony was a Doctor too, techincally, and maybe other people too, but this was the closest to someone who might actually know what to do with a human body who didn't get that knowledge from a glowing ball.]
Billy Kaplan. [He offers a hand a little hesitantly.] Glad to have you. Let me show you around.

The offered hand is accepted with confidence and Wesker makes it a point not to linger outside but gestures for Billy to start the tour. ]
As you may already guess, I have been to this place before. But I will not claim to have thoroughly scouted the entire place. Enough to get a basic idea, however.

[Billy held the door for him.]
And you know some of what we're missing.
I can take you round to see some of the machines that aren't running if you want? Maybe you recognize them?
no subject
Hm. If I can identify their purpose, I can tell you what will be useful to get running. But I also recall seeing devices around that I can't place in any category I am familiar with. Further I doubt this place requires a fully equipped lab for every conceivable situation.
no subject
[He flushes a little and nods.] Right, yeah. Just whatever you think we need or could manage for a group our size. Hopefully we never need to use it.
no subject
[ Wesker contemplates that information, but quickly files it aside. ]
I doubt there is a way to acquire more specific devices. Or have them built.
no subject
[Billy offers uncertainly. He's not confident about conjuring complex equipment that he doesn't fully understand.]
no subject
How so?
[ He asks neutrally enough. ]

IwantDr.Wesker'sglasses.IwantDr.Wesker'sglasses.IwantDr.Wesker'sglasses-
[He chants the words, hands glowing blue, and a duplicate pair appears in Billy's hands as if from out of no where.]
Here, now you've got a spare. [Billy hands them off, and they are identical, down to any scratches or smudges they might currently have.]
no subject
Seeing that it is very much the same pair of glasses results in additional silence and even prompts Wesker to take off his own pair to hold both side-by-side while a pair of faintly glowing red eyes flicks back and forth between them. After finding literally no difference between them, those same eyes snap over to Billy. ]
You can do that with everything?
no subject
This place has kind of...uh, limited the scope a bit. I can't get us home or anything useful like that, but within reason I can do pretty much anything I want as long as I can...conceive of it. That's why I get extra nervous about medical stuff, 'cause if I mess up some detail of that it's...bigger consequences.

[ There’s an interest in his voice. ]

[Billy was cautious not to make any promises, but he gave a small nod.]
What sort of antidote?
no subject
[ He puts his sunglasses back on and pockets the spare pair before taking a step away from Billy. ]
Since you showed me your trick, I may as well tell you.
[ Exhaling once, Wesker rolls his shoulders, then nods. ]
Eight years ago I was infected with a virus that ended up destroying my home city. It turns regular humans into mindless, yet deadly zombies. Thanks to a genetic advantage, I remain immune to viral symptoms and therefore the virus had a different effect on me. Yet it still tries to mutate me further to this day.
[ He taps the side of his sunglasses with a single finger, indicating the one actually visible effect the virus has on him. Then that same hand reaches into his coat to pull out a small vial filled with a greyish lavendar liquid. ]
I have developed a serum to keep the virus stable and prevent it from turning me into a rampaging monstrosity. So far I managed to recreate it here using the replicator. But that one only has so many uses, which is why I am searching for a way to make more.
no subject
That uh...yeah that'd...that'd be important to tackle. I'll definitely do whatever I can. Um...can you...pass it on still? Or...? [He's not sure how to broach that one tactfully.]
no subject
Not according to any of my recent tests. But I don't make it a habit to actively bite people either. I have seen one city being overrun by zombies and if possible would want to prevent a repetition.
no subject
Anything I can do. Promise. Whatever you need.

And we can totally handwave the actual reconstruction because I know nothing on the subject
