I'm working on cleaning up/clearing out more of the hospital. I was wondering if anyone either wanted to lend a hand, or if there was any um...I dunno, 'features' you'd like to see here? Stuff to make it more comfortable? Needs that aren't being addressed?

Not at all really, but I can't magic it open or myself inside so I think it requires the help of someone smarter than me.

I think this is the part of the hospital for like the really bad stuff...infectious stuff. I thought if we could get it open we could use it or...I dunno, store dangerous stuff in there? Is that dumb?

It's a little dumb, mostly because I'm so much smarter than you.

You think it would be beneficial to open the door that is so strictly sealed that you can't even warp reality around it.

This place is not a place of honour, etc.

A lab. That place useless if any proper bloodwork needs to get done. But the overall state of that place is poor at best. How have you been handling emergency surgeries or infections so far?

I think, if you really think it's that dangerous, you should not tell anyone else that it's even there until you know what you're dealing with. Better yet, make something blow up on the other side of town to buy yourself time.

I've been grounded, all out of explosives, unfortunately. I'll break some traffic laws.

Poorly? [Billy gives a bashful look.] I've been able to use my magic as a sort of...quick fix and luckily we haven't had too many emergencies, but it's definitely something we should work on.

Uhhh...yeah uh- kind of? I mean...a few of us have the medical data point. So not real doctors but...the closest we've got.[He points at himself.] The Agrii aren't really hands on. They're up in orbit somewhere.

[Objectively he's not wrong; the correct choice for anyone at any moment should be the beverage one craves most of the available choices.]

Have you ever tried getting the medical information before? Do you know what's in there? Like— is it only basic injuries, or does it have stuff like Halo-modification styles in there? [Wait, maybe that sounds weird.] I know somebody in HIOT; she's a pain, but she's really into this kind of thing.

I don't, um... like from the hospital or- from the data point? Both I guess? I mean I've been working at the hospital here for like...2 years maybe? Fuck...

We have...more basic stuff I guess. Some machines and things that aren't working, but I think they were made with the Agrii in mind. I need an engineer to look at them to be sure.

If you must know, yes. Viral research, genetics, bioengineering. Countering potential bioterrorism used to be part of my job. I didn't expect an alien hospital to be entirely unprepared for a potential outbreak.

[Billy looks hopeful.]

Really? Do you think- I mean...would you be interested in helping us out? Or even just helping me set up what we're missing. But it would be great to have someone here who actually had a background in...anything even kind of related to this.
