Those of you who spend your days in the greenhouse, has anyone found any plant with properties that might aid one's sleep?
[There's a brief pause.] Knock yourself out with the fruit that makes you feel drunk is not a valid answer to this question, by the way. Nor is bang your head against the nearest tree until your vision goes black.
[He pauses again, considers,] And should none have an answer, what do you do, when sleep refuses to come or when it is more restless than restful?

Action;
[He tilted his head a bit at the wide variety of crew he had.]
You will have to tell me about your crew one day.
{Then he waved Altair over to the bed, letting him know everything was situated. He went about getting ready to settle down for the night as well.
Action;
[Strange how that happens, really.]
And of course. They were an unusual lot and I love them all the more for it.
[He's quite fond of all of them. Except maybe the droid. Okay, definitely except the droid. There's only so much complaining he can take, especially from something he's never raised a hand to.
When Hux waves him over, he picks Milli up off his lap to set her down, giving her an apologetic scratch beneath the chin, moving to get ready for bed himself- setting his things aside first, though he's somewhat hesitant to put his dualsaber aside. He does though.
He doubts Hux would appreciate having it anywhere near the bed as they sleep, after all.]
Action;
Hux noticed the hesitation with Altair and his saber, but said nothing as he placed his day clothes beside the bed. He did call Millicent over to join them once he settled in bed.
Granted, he was a bit hesitant over this. It was new territory. Although he enjoyed Altair's company and this may help make a few decisions for him that he was still dwelling on.]
You at least have a crew that you can trust. I might trust two people in my organization at most.
Action;
His face already had a natural flush, but it deepened just slightly as he tried to get comfortable. He supposed he should be glad that it wasn't quite as noticeable on him.]
I do consider myself lucky to have them, yes. Of course when it comes to the Council it's a different matter entirely... But it's a conversation we can have another day, I think.
[Sleeping was more important. Talking could wait.]
Action;
[Hux replied before situating himself once more and closing his eyes. Milli had found her away over to Altair and placed herself on his chest. Normally she would be with Hux, but he was new.]
Action;
Slowly but surely, the lack of sleep caught up to him, and soon enough he fell into a deep dreamless slumber himself.]
Action;
Action;
He still slept through until morning, waking early, and realizing that at some point during the night, Hux had gotten much closer than he had been when they had both settled down, and that he had an arm draped over him. He also realized that the fact that Hux was still asleep was unusual, given his words from the night before about getting up to work.
Staying still, he couldn't help but smile, head tilted to look at the other man.
It would appear that they both had needed the sleep. Hux looked quite different too, asleep like this. Hair a mess, expression seeming unguarded.
Deciding it was best not to stare, he closed his eyes again.
He would not sleep more- but he could rest his eyes until Hux woke.]
Action;
Milli looked up from her place on Altair's chest and greeted him with a meow. She appeared to be content, but at the same time confused by the strange sleeping pattern. She was also hoping for some breakfast as well.]
Action;
[He opened his eyes as Hux's hand came to rest against his cheek, and smiled.
For the other man to sleep for an entire hour longer than he had... Truly he had to have been exhausted as well. Altair was glad that he seemed to have slept through the entire night along with him. It was good for both of them.] I take it you slept well?
Action;
[Hux admitted finding himself embarrassed by it.]
I don't think I've slept that long in a long time. Not since I was on my old ship the Finalizer I miss her.
I hope you slept well?
[Milli left Altair's chest to walk over to Hux meowing up to him for food. For now, Hux remained where he was, but he petted her in attempt to have her calm down for now. She would get her food, but not right away as she would prefer.]
Action;
[He felt rested, at least. More so than he had in a long time.] I suppose that's my way of saying that I slept well.
[He smiled, slightly. Honestly, having nightmares and having fear follow had to just be part of life for a Sith, he thought. Still, it had been nice, being next to Hux and sleeping through the night without dread waking him.]
I think the sleep did us both good. A man cannot run on empty eternally, after all.
