Those of you who spend your days in the greenhouse, has anyone found any plant with properties that might aid one's sleep?

[There's a brief pause.] Knock yourself out with the fruit that makes you feel drunk is not a valid answer to this question, by the way. Nor is bang your head against the nearest tree until your vision goes black.

[He pauses again, considers,] And should none have an answer, what do you do, when sleep refuses to come or when it is more restless than restful?

[He sighs softly.] Sith are driven by their fear, but this...

[Another sigh, and he reaches up beneath his veil to pinch the bridge of his nose.] This is different.

[Not that he wants to talk about it...] I'll help you with the herbs. I am not the only one who struggles with sleep.

...I hadn't thought about that part. Good point.

Everyone has their limits. I hope that eventually you can come to terms with what's been triggering your nightmares.

[He handed the tea over to Altair to drink.]

For now I just want you to catch up on your rest. You're already worn out.

... I don't think I ever will. Not unless someone holds me down and delivers enough kicks to my head to give me amnesia.

[...

... He accepts the cup, and sighs again.] I'll be alright. I've been through worse.

What is with all this violence? I won't have any of it.

[At the small outburst, Eli reached over and hugged Altair being mindful of the tea at the same time.]

[He doesn't resist the hug. Had it not been for the cup of tea, he'd likely have relaxed into it a little.]

I apologize for upsetting you, Eli. I'm just going through some things, I suppose.

[thrawnsaide]

Altair, all of us are going through things. It's been a rough transition for everyone. I'm sure everyone has stuff going on at home left unfinished or are worried about loved ones.

[Eli simply stated not letting go of his hug, but shift enough to allow Altair to put the cup of tea down.]

I know.

[Cup is put down, and as soon as it is, he just turns into useless pile of Chiss Pantoran mode.

He's not really in a rush to say anything else. Just. Give him a moment.]

[He merely smiled and continued to hold Altair. He wasn't going to let go till Altair was ready. This reminded him of the times he sought out his mother's company when something would distress him as a kid. He missed her hugs and warm words of encouragement.]

[He doesn't let himself relax too long, eventually pulling back.]

I should probably drink my tea while it's still hot.

[Which is his way of saying he'd rather be alone again and try to get some sleep.]

Alright, if you need anything don't hesitate to find me.

[Reluctantly, Eli pulled away from the hug and stood back up.]

I do hope the tea will provide some rest for you.

Hopefully. Thank you.

[He hopes it will. He really does need some restful sleep. He can't be of use to anyone if he ends up falling ill after all.]
