[Snowy roads are difficult to drive on, but Celty's got some tricks up her sleeves and an excellent steed besides. It's strange that no rumble of an engine or a motor heralds her arrival, just the slight crunch and squeak of snow and wet tires before the black forms cut through the whiteness.
Celty pulls up by the ARC Trooper, her yellow helmet tipping in an up-nod of greeting before she regards him. He'd almost blended in with the snow for his armor- and was that a gun?
Scary... I should have asked who I was meeting with- ah, but it's like the typical internet, isn't it?]
[Motorcycle's got wheels and everything, how did he miss that? Good thing she can't see how surprised he looks when he finally notices he isn't alone anymore.
He nods back, lifting a hand against the white backdrop. His glove blends with the trees, and the blue lines show a little more as he shifts, white blotches creating breaks where they shouldn't be.]
[Oh. He's waving. That takes some of the edge off of things. Otherwise there's nothing wrong here, just two people wearing helmets in the snow. Celty pulls out her tablet, tapping at it before she holds it out for him to see the screen.]
I'm assuming you're the one who offered to head out to the beach?
[That's right. Helmets. Hers has cat ears. This is totally normal.
He blinks when she gets the tablet out, leaning in a few degrees when she turns it around for him to read. And he confirms her question with another nod.]
[Alien creatures? She'd seen the glownies and they at least don't seem so bad, but she supposes she can't trust everything to be so docile. As Echo sets off to lead, she puts her tablet away and begins to walk her bike along after him.]
Not all of them. I'm assuming everyone here has been smart enough to stay away from the bigger threats. Some will leave you alone. Others are nuisances-- like the mothcats. ['Nuisance' is spoken with a degree of affection in his tone.] Never hurts to be a little prepared for the unexpected, however.
[He doesn't walk fast, and he doesn't mind taking the time to get there. Although he's two steps ahead, Echo pauses to look behind and read what she's typed.]
Yeah, I guess they are. Some of them just have a habit of being where they shouldn't be.
[Like on his head. Another beat passes as he watches her fingers fly over the tablet, the name bringing about a hidden frown as he repeats it aloud.]
Tony Stark. Now why would he bring up the hot springs?
[That sounds typical of cats. Celty seems to laugh silently at that before she offers a nod. The question following Tony's name has her shrug before she types out her reply.]
Not for any good reasons, if that smirk was any hint.
[Echo continues to spot Celty whenever it calls for it, moving forward to act as a marker. Travel may be a little slower this way, but it isn't like the beach is going anywhere.
Eventually, they do reach the clearing, heading in the direction of the caverns lining the shore.]
Here's the beach. We usually warn everyone to steer clear of the lobsters, but it looks like we'll be okay.
[It's so alien. At least in the city limits she could believe she was still possibly somewhere on Earth. Seeing the blue-violet sand is just a taunting reminder that it's nothing of the sort. Celty's shoulders sag in an unheard sigh. Well, she can't say it isn't picturesque. Just...strange.
She glances over at Echo then.]
Lobsters? Red with claws? They have those here?
I know this is old but I'm gonna wrap this one up before I keel over
[He tilts his chin to one side, shaking his head.]
They're green. Doesn't make them any less dangerous, though. [He takes a few steps, searching the sands to point one out.] There's one. Looks like he's alone today...
[Motioning her to follow, Echo makes sure the rest of the way to the caverns is clear of any little friends.]

Dusted in snow, Echo waits, blaster held at rest as he looks up at the sky for few moments, only to look back out whenever Celty shows.]

Well, you're right to assume as much. I'm Echo.

[She slips off her bike, leaning her hip against it as she taps out another quick message.]
Ready when you are. Is it very far from here?

[He points in the direction, glancing over at the treeline as he replies. He then gestures for her to follow, taking the lead.]
If you don't mind walking for a while. But that's mostly due to it being a forest with no clear paths. And creatures of all sorts.

Creatures? Dangerous?

Mind if I ask who told you about the hot springs?

Tony Stark.

[The sigh is evident in Echo's tone as he claps a hand over the front of his helmet, letting it slide off once he recomposes himself.]
I'm sorry you had to deal with him.

It wasn't too bad. My roommate's worse, I think.
