I've heard mention that there are hot springs somewhere here. Where might I be able to find them?

Certainly. I've heard that going to hot springs in the winter makes them more enjoyable in some places, although I've never been able to do so back home.

I’ve been in a hot tub before but that’s not really the same.

Probably not. I'm sure atmosphere has a lot to do with the experience.

and my aunt’s always been kinda strict about not sitting in the hot tub for too long.

She might have a different opinion for a hot spring.

she says they rarely get cleaned well and are basically a breeding ground for bacteria.

when I was little it was really easy for me to get sick, so I think she’s just worried.

There are several cave systems at and near the beach, but not all lead to the hot springs. Some are... Well. Once you notice something off about your location, I suggest you don't go in any further.

I can't really speak for others, but I felt- Overwhelmed. May be different if I went in there these days.

It was mentioned to me offhand by someone I met not too long after my arrival. That was about maybe more than a month ago?

At the very least. It's mostly a guess.

For me it seems to have been slow, until I try to work out how long it's been. It's difficult finding ways to keep myself busy. I'm used to a busy city.
