The Forge (for Tony)
It was not without some resignation that the warlord made his way towards the edge of the city where the man Tony Stark had laid claim to the local forge. But with such a specific need, one could not be picky, and the man did decent work so far as he could tell. The snowmen out front were however another story.

The trio of shapes seemed haphazardly packed together from the pink snow, heads listing to the side, barely balanced but somehow still remaining in their places. Twigs, rocks and leaves made up the barest of details. Felwinter regarded these strange snow beings that stood sentry not far from the mostly hidden path winding off towards Tony's domain, his Ghost giving a shrug as she floated beside him.

They continued onwards, listening for the telltale sounds that would verify whether Tony was present and at work or not, although Felspring would be able to detect any presences soon enough.

Security Station (Open)
Given how rare it appeared anyone else ventured to the station and its adjacent tower, the snow coating the road out front was hardly traversed, and depending on the most recent snowfall, bore perhaps only one set of fresh tracks.

It wasn't as though the warlord made it well-known where he had chosen to shelter, but he did not expect to receive any guests either- not that it was an easy feat considering the elevator to the topmost floor where he dwelled was non-functional. Despite Wanda's suggestions, he had only gone so far as to fix up one of the offices just below as a more privately enclosed space to rest, although he still hadn't bothered with a bed. He felt better with a wall at his back.

One might catch him coming or going from the station, usually early or later in the day.

Diner (Open)
This wasn't a place Felwinter tended to frequent. It however seemed an ideal place as any to stockpile firewood should anyone need it, and since he was unfamiliar with the methods of how people cooked here, he might also think that they were restricted to cookfires as those back home. There was a neat stack of wood set up just outside the door, and some stacked within against a wall where it wouldn't be in anyone's way.

If one didn't come across the warlord as he carried a fresh load on his back as he returned from the woods, then they might find him piling the logs outside or within.

Well that's a good point. Still... Tommy could do it.

"I might be able to borrow some stuff to sharpen it but I can absolutely see about an axe. And other than more wood, I'm thinking of making an outdoor stone oven. It's supposed to be good for cooking, and reduces fire risks. Don't suppose you could help me salvage materials for it."

In the long run an ax would benefit everyone, Felwinter felt. He nodded and would leave Tommy to his devices. "A stone oven..." While he had never used one nor had a reason to, he thought he knew what one entailed, and he could follow the reasoning.

"Yes, I think that is manageable. Stone is obvious, but what will be used to seal it together? It will need to be something that will not become too brittle with constant exposure to heat."

"That's the mystery for me. I'll have to figure it out, unless you know something. I mean, I think people normally use clay or something to seal it. Or mortar if you're using bricks."

And of course Tommy doesn't know what to use here.

"Clay of some kind is most likely. I do not think Agrii buildings will yield many bricks. Stones would probably best be taken from Sh'Ka. Perhaps there is something adequate enough to make clay or mortar as well."

"I don't know, how do you even find clay or mortar?"

There were things Tommy knew because he'd studied them (which was a recent thing, him and studying). There were things he knew because of instinct to (because sometimes powers like his had to come with that so you didn't hurt yourself with them). And there was just things Tommy hadn't the slightest clue about.

"All I know about materials like that is I can basically tell how strong they are, and how heat proof I guess."

"Clay would most likely be found somewhere moist. An optimal place to look would be near a river, but I'm not familiar with the minerals of this world to say what sort of environment would be appropriate here. That would go the same for mortar. Perhaps there are suitable rocks in the quarry of Sh'Ka, but they would need to be ground down."

Felwinter had never made or used clay and mortar, but he vaguely remembered things about them. "If you saw anything here that was a sample of clay or brickwork would you be able to identify what was used in it, or would it have to be the raw material?"

Grinding down rocks, huh?

"Would explosions help break the stone down if it's suitable?" Tommy asked, trying to keep his voice... light. He didn't know if he wanted to just tell the dude that was clearly uncomfortable that Tommy could explode things.

But the question makes him think. Think enough that he has to shake his head.

"No, I don't think I could tell you what was used in it. I just can't do that actually. I know how strong stuff is because of my powers. I... I work with excited molecules."

That's the easiest way to explain without explaining.

"They'd have to be very controlled. I do not think it would be an advisable method for doing the actual breakdown. It will have to be very fine, like powder."

Felwinter folded his arms, as he thought. "Perhaps a more appropriate datapoint than communications would yield better information," he considered. He fixed a look at Tommy, or at least one could assume for the angle of his helmet. "How are they being excited?"

"Yeah, I can't manage powder," Tommy sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Like, I can heat things, but my break down point tends to be explosions."

A more appropriate datapoint, huh? Tommy didn't even know which one would be applicable here.

"Uh... I basically just make the molecules vibrate at high speed. It generates heat. But also, well, explosions like I said. Depends on what the material is."

"Vibration itself could cause a breakdown on a physical level, not merely molecular," Felwinter pointed out. "Grinding something down takes pressure applied repeatedly. But consistent agitation can also potentially do the same, especially with brittle materials."

He paused to reach into a pouch at his belt, drawing out thin rock fragments. "These used to be leaves on the trees in Sh'Ka. They petrified and would fall to the ground and shatter. I am not sure how heat-proof they would be, but things like this would not take much effort to pulverize. Of course, the problem here would more be that everything would be covered in snow."

"I've never tried that though. I'm worried I could do serious damage," Tommy answered with a shrug. He was afraid it would be too easy to make a boom, and then they'd have shrapnel.

The leaf was something he'd seen before, and now Tommy was considering it.

"I'd been thinking of those more as potential slates for roofing, like I've seen in some countries. But I can see your point. Getting to them woudl be hard."

"It might take some fine-tuning, tighter control. I do not think it would be impossible, but it would definitely take work. There are plenty of open spaces to avoid damage, unless you fear taking damage yourself."

Felwinter looked again at the stone leaf fragments. "For roofing? That might work. But they would have to be harvested before they fell, and that might be difficult without proper abilities or equipment."

"I've been working hard on fucking fine-tuning already."

Though his tuning was working on heating things without explosions.

"Yeah, that's going to be a while before we can do it again."

The warlord shrugged. "It was just a suggestion. I will not tell you what to do, and you know your capabilities better than I would." He was only hypothesizing from what he was told.

"I suppose we will have to look into other materials in the meantime. I will look for something suitable for your oven."

"Thanks man. If you can find stuff, first pizza is for you. If I can figure out how to make pizza."

And Tommy offered a brief salute at that. Because he wanted the dude to know it's cool.

"You gonna come in? You hungry?"

Felwinter shook his head. "Thank you, but you needn't trouble yourself. I am certain there are others who would enjoy this pizza more than I would."

He wasn't sure what was expected of the salute, but he tried not to look so awkward as he returned it. "Ah, no. It's fine. I do not need to eat. If you don't need anything else immediately, then I will take my leave."

"I don't even have pizza right now, so it's not like I'm gonna share any."

But if he's offering to go, clearly seeking it, then Tommy could accept that.

"Be careful. Be safe."

He did intend to start looking for potential building materials. With a nod, Felwinter turned to be on his way.
