Let's try this again.
WHO: Clarice Starling and anyone else interested in joining her
WHERE: Sh'Ka / The Diner
WHAT: A gathering trip postponed since September, and a catch-all for the diner.
WHEN: Early October for the trip, all month for the diner
WARNINGS: None yet, but we'll add them in comments if any come up!
At first, Clarice had been a little frustrated that her trip had been postponed ... she had already been delayed by her injury in the mines, after all. But helping Tommy around while he healed took precedence, and her frustration lasted about as long as an ice cube in a blast furnace. Being busy kept her from thinking too hard about what she might have been missing out there on the other end of the automated train tracks, about any opportunities to help grow their little community. And busy they were: keeping everyone fed was a full-time job, even more so when one of them was just getting rid of a limp and the other was dealing with one, too.
Finally, things had begun to settle again. One morning, Clarice got out of the shower, braided her wet hair, and dressed before looking out the little window of her room at the horizon. With a few slow nods to herself, she reached out and picked up her tablet, texting the handful of people who had showed interest in her network post what had felt like an age ago:
Hey, y'all. I've finally got some time free again. If you still want to go to Sh'Ka with me, meet me down at the train at 9:30. I'll bring caffiene and breakfast.
((OOC: This is mostly just flavor text - I'll put top-levels for each setting in the comments!))

When she sees Clarice, she waves.]
It's okay if I come along, right?
[She wants to help too! Maybe they'd find more plants for medical purposes.]

So she had arrived at the train station early after her patrol and been shocked to see her friend. She went from focused to beaming widely to see Clarice, moving immediately to meet her.]
Clarice! You look ready for an adventure.

No matter who came in the door, or how elbow-deep she might be in batter or flour, she'd always stop, look up, and grin.]
Hey, c'mon in! I'll be right with you.

Good day, Clarice. Might I ask what you're currently working on? Oh, and are there any spare larger bones or meat trimmings we can spare? Little Bear has been particularly good lately and might deserve a little treat.
Diner
Don't concern yourself with me, just black coffee, please.
