WHERE: The Civics Center Gym
WHAT: Fitness Is Your Friend!
WHEN: Mid September
WARNINGS: None
Exercise For Your Heart | Civics Center Gym, OTA
There were plans now, and Lauri intended to set to them. With all of the input about the way that climbing walls had worked she had decided to take an afternoon to work. The woman made her way to the civics center after her security patrol and headed right to one of the benches she had on the outside of the main room. From here she could easily watch the two obstacle courses, or even the weights area. But she was too busy to mess with those right now, not with no one here at the moment.
So instead she sad there with the rocks she had gathered. With those she had a small metal tool, and was rubbing the ribbed metal over the stone to shape it. She'd done this before to shape the stone weights before acquiring others from Coruscant.
But she paused as she looked up at the entrance when she heard movement.
"Hello? Someone there?"

"Hello? Someone there?"

It had been ten years after all.
But when he walked in a little further, he caught sight of Lauri-Ell working on some project, so he came over. "What are you doing?"
no subject
"I am attempting to create a 'rock climbing wall'. It has been described to me. I need to make holds for it."
And so she was making them by hand.

Clearly that should be enough to describe him, or so Lauri-Ell thought. "He seems to get into danger."

Cal had red hair too, but she didn't know him well. Kyle? It was almost like his head burned.
"Yes, I worry about his safety."

Maybe she should seek him out to be certain.

"Yes, I do Iron Man. A few levels above here."

"Yes, it is very nice. There are others that help me maintain the obstacle courses, Keith and Clarice mainly. And others come to make use of it. It is pleasant."
She wasn't talking about her room. Her room was functional. A Kree could want for no more than that.

TOL!
"I live in another part of the civics center. What is is you are here to see, Tony?"
no subject
At least she finally called him Tony.
"I thought this could be a good place to set up a tennis court," he admitted, and readily followed it with, "But if you've got your obstacles and...rocks, or whatever, there's lots of room in that big store place, and its about time someone reorganized in there..."
no subject
"What size do you need? There are rooms that could be cleared. Please let me know, I would be happy to help. Could you use a tennis court for the volley of ball too?"
no subject
no subject
"I presume you would prefer something on a lower level for ease of access?"
no subject
Before Lauri-Ell had to wonder about what Tony was inferring this time, he quickly caught up with a rattle and continued, "We don't do a lot together here," sounding as lofty as he could manage, as though this tennis court thing had been entirely altruistic inspiration. "We're a lot of moving pieces that keep this place running, sure, but we don't have a lot of experience working as a team in a pinch. Team sports, build that muscle."
no subject
"I thought it was a game for fun. It seems Star Lord has not spoken to me truly," Lauri noted as she slowed down, just a bit, for him to keep up. She thought she knew a good room on this floor that might work, though, after she tore some things out. Chairs and desks and the like. "Will these fun games foster team work?"
