Glad to see my bar didn't burn down while I was gone. How we all doing here? What exciting mysteries have we dug up in the mines? New additions? Subtractions?

[By the blue-greenish ambient light and the dark countertop he sits at, Cayde's probably at the bar he speaks of. He holds a mug of coffee in one hand, his other free to gesticulate.]

Aaand for those of you that might not have noticed your favorite Exo being absent- sorry Felwinter- well, I've been out at the other city this past...wait, how long's it been anyway? I counted enough sunrises to be at least a few weeks, give or take. I mean, did we ever figure out how Agrii weeks and months work around here? Or is everything just reeeally long?

Anyway, I digress- I...promised Kyle I'd make a report or something but it looks like the Graq connections have been made already. For those of you not in the know, they're some...squatty dog-bear-looking people that we ran across on a particular space adventure. That story gets complicated so you want details, you come find me.

Now- circling back, there's a lotta evidence out in that other city suggesting that these Graq lived there. Structures. Melted rock. Of course there's some other stuff that don't make sense but if it did then it'd all be too easy, right?

[He waves his free hand dismissively.]

I'm not one to info dump but if anyone wants to share or whatever, I'll probably be around for a while to catch up on things around here.

Saw the new additions to the tank. [He nods off to the side somewhere, flashing a smile.] That your doing, 'berto? Thanks.

Oh yeah, kid? Um- right. Can't just.... too many dang kids around these days- Helmet's kid? Drop by when you can, hole's ready for you to work your magic.

[He points at the camera, finger and thumb poised like a cocked gun.]

Oh yeah! Very nice. I'll enjoy them while they last. Don't think there's been any casualties yet but pretty sure it's not the fish you gotta worry about eating each other.

It's what I've been doing lately, fishing and looking for the right minerals in the caves to make crystals. I still need to find a place for a workshop to work on them.

I don't think the kid minds them being um...fresh. But thanks kid. I think the last time I took Jon on a fishing trip to try refilling the tank, we caught more weeds than anything else. [He chuckles.]

Crystals, huh? You an engineer, kid? [That so many children have taken up that datapoint just amuses him to no end.] Plenty of places to claim. We can go check things out if you want.

Well, we found a real tight tunnel that leads to some sort of... thing. We don't really have a good idea what it does.

[ Cobb is sitting outside a house, seemingly between projects at the moment. He's still a little injured but everything is healing nicely and the bruises have mostly faded from his face. ]

And we need to make some crystals to power it. I don't think we should power it up until we know what it does. The narrow tunnel it's behind makes me think it's blocked up for a reason.

[ And he'll tell everyone else soon. But Cayde asked for a report so Cobb's reporting. ]

Ooh, a tunnel! Wait- you haven't gone through yet?

[Although given how the Marshall's looking, he wonders if there's been some complications.]

Soooo either someone's hiding something or the Agrii are oblivious as to whatever might have been hidden. Always some fun odds.

Oh, we've gone through. Leads to a rusted door and behind that is all the tech that I'm hesitant to turn on.

[ Complications are pretty much a daily occurrence around here. ]

Don't know how they got energy readings from dead equipment. There's nothing on there. Not even half-dead on.

Helmet's kid? ugh. At least he knows what he means. Give him a little while (he's got little legs) and the kid will stroll into the bar. Sup?

Cayde's tossing knives at a shoddy dart board on the wall when the little one arrives. He grins over at the kid.

"Hey buddy!"

Hi, Cayde! He returns that grin with one of his own. He looks up at the dart board. Knife board? Eh, whatever. He doesn't judge.

The knives and the board are abandoned in favor of the project at hand, Cayde practically dancing over towards the door before gesturing dramatically to the wall beside it to show the unlit sign, now hanging in position.

"Tadaa! What do you think? All that's left is hooking it up to the power."

True to his word, there's a hole cut out of the wall right about level with Grogu. The wiring for the sign's been threaded into the wall above, the ends pulled through to drape outside of the hole so Grogu won't have to go feeling around for them. "You got this?"

Shit, the more people who come back and mention the place feels Graq, the weirder this all feels to me. The fact that you picked up on it too worries me. Each time one of us who met them says something the more EVERYTHING sounds so fucking bullshit.

I don't think it's so weird that people're picking up on it so much as there being something to pick up on. It's weird, right?

I don't think it's weird that it's getting noticed either. I'm thinking it's weird that there's things to notice. And it's making a lot of the Agrii's story sound, well, weird.
