Video [Not-Temba Information Sharing]
[Good evening Temba! Tommy's back from another day in Not-Temba and on this video looking tired but thoughtful.]
Hey, sorry to bug people, but hoping I could get someone who was on the Adventure to Save the Agrii who might have gone to Not-Temba to tell me I'm crazy. Just...
I spent a lot of time in the greenhouse cataloging food and there was this one plant in particular that was SUPER bothering me. Because I knew I'd eaten some of it before, but not here. Couldn't remember what or why for the longest time. It was this stalk, not unlike a really tall piece of celery or something, and when I bit into it, the stuff tasted like buttered corn. Finally figured out where I'd had it before.
Not just that either. I think there might be Boar-bunnies in the forest. Don't quote me on it, but after you spend time hauling one back to a village to trade for meat, you sorta get a LONG look at those hooves.
Those two things put together means something very specific to me. Guys, someone tell me I'm just imagining things? Or don't and explain it. Because the two things are something I only encountered in one place before: the Graq homeworld. And the Agrii CLEARLY didn't know the Graq and it seemed like the reverse was true. So how am I running into that shit here?
[Not that he likes the idea of the reverse. If he's going mad, if he's gotten that family quirk going on, he's going to have a whole other mess of issues. And that is its own form of stress. But if what he saw was real, he has no ideas and that's freaking him out.]
I guess, what the FUCK is going on here?

Seriously, man? The good boy teleporter pays fetch?
[Shit, this would be cool.]
Yo, will... will he teleport to it?
[Was this about to be the fastest and most frisbee game ever?]
no subject
He's picky about it, but yeah... he'll play if you do it his way.
[Which apparently was just swapping out the stick for a frisbee. Two years, Kosmo. Two years, Keith tried to get you to fetch that stick on the space whale. But he found a frisbee and suddenly the wolf was into it. Go figure.]
He might. He hasn't for me, yet. He'll teleport back to me with it, though.
[Then again, Keith didn't throw very fast. If Tommy could throw it as fast as he ran, then Kosmo would probably pick up on it and start teleporting.]
See if you can get him to do it.

Keith crossed his arms, looking amused as the wolf teleported back to Tommy's side with the frisbee in his mouth.]

[Tommy grins as he takes the frisbee back. Time to see what the wolf might do. And, with a smirk and not even turning to look, he snaps the frisbee off in the direction of Keith, sending it sailing over his head at a nice twenty miles an hour. Sorry not sorry, Keith.]
no subject
Hey!
[He looked startled for a second, and Kosmo had no qualms about teleporting into the air over Keith. He started off at a run, actually still able to keep up in regards to speed, but the height was a problem, so that's when he jumped and then disappeared in a flash of light. The distance was short enough, and it was almost instant that he reappeared above Keith's head to grab the frisbee.
Keith, meanwhile, had just enough warning to resettle his position and brace himself for a catch as Kosmo's momentum carried him into the Paladin's arms. Even as a puppy, these teleport jumps would knock Keith over. Needless to say, Kosmo's larger size ended up almost flattening him into the sand.]
Oof... [Kosmo didn't wait long before he was flashing his way back to Tommy's side with the frisbee. Keith sat up and frowned.] Thanks.
no subject
Sorry man, that was just... Fuck, that was awesome. Okay, that gets the teleport. You wanna go faster, Kosmo?
no subject
Oh, yeah... real awesome. Nice flashback to when he was first learning to do that.
[As annoyed as he was trying to sound, though, Keith also did sound somewhat amused. He probably would have done the same to someone else.
Kosmo barked, and bounced on his front paws a little before crouching again.
Just throw the frisbee!]

[He smiled as he looked at Kosmo though. Times for some real fun. The ocean was probably the wrong choice right now. So he turned, deliberately away from Keith, and flung up the beach with force. This time he put something closer to real speed on it, giving the frisbee something pushing thirty-five now. Come on wolf, show him you've got it.
ANd then, with a burst of inspiration, Tommy took off at a run after the frisbee. Better win, Kosmo!]
no subject
[Kosmo probably could have caught it normally... barely... as that was close to his normal top running speed, but seeing Tommy chase after it got the wolf excited. He teleported after it as well, mid-bound, trying to get there first.]
no subject
He lets the wolf catch it and comes to a stop with a grin.]
Fuck you're amazing.
no subject
Keith shielded his eyes from the sun to peer into the distance to see how far they'd gone.
Kosmo gave a 'boof' kind of noise around the frisbee, wagging his tail at Tommy, and then couched, challenging the speedster to come get it from him. Then, he took off back towards Keith.]
no subject
[Tommy laughed and darted forward, trying to grab the frisbee.]
I'm gonna take it, blue-boy!

no subject
If he ever had a fast pet, he'd want it to be like Kosmo]
Come on, good boy, share.
no subject
Keith just laughed as they both suddenly appeared.]
He's keeping you on your toes, huh?
no subject
My toes and the balls of my feet. Basically the best pup ever.
no subject
Good. I'd been debating if I wanted to try doing all that agility type of stuff you see people doing with frisbees now that I know he'll chase that instead of a stick.
[Kosmo looked very proud of himself, tail wagging, and he looked between the two guys before dropping the frisbee at Tommy's feet.
Again?]
no subject
[Finally. Tommy grabs the disc and wings it out toward the water. Sorry Keith, wet dog smell might be coming.]
no subject
That could be it, honestly...
[It wasn't like he had many options stuck in a weird wilderness on the back of a space whale.
Kosmo barked once and ran after it, not having any fear of going into the water to get it back.]
Aahh... oh... [Keith sighed.] He's gonna take forever to dry... [And Keith was going to have to brush out all that thick fur, too, in order to prevent matting. Great. Thanks, Tommy.]
no subject
YOU picked the beach, man. This is something you signed up for.
no subject
[Keith laughed a little.
Kosmo appeared next to the two of them and then shook himself off, frisbee in his mouth.]
no subject
[Tommy grins and snatches the frisbee again and throws it straight up.]
no subject
Kosmo jumped and was barely off the sand before he disappeared in a flash of light. There were two very quick flashes above them, with only a glimpse of blue fur before another flash back near the ground. The wolf landed easily, frisbee in his mouth.]
Okay... I hadn't tried that before... [Keith had honestly only been counting on horizontal distance, not vertical.]
no subject
[Tommy absolutely was praising the damn thing, fluffing up the fur around its cute little doggy-like cheeks.
It's official. Tommy hates dogs. And wolves. But Kosmo? Best pet ever.]
You need to do it more. He's totally the coolest.
