[Good evening Temba! Tommy's back from another day in Not-Temba and on this video looking tired but thoughtful.]

Hey, sorry to bug people, but hoping I could get someone who was on the Adventure to Save the Agrii who might have gone to Not-Temba to tell me I'm crazy. Just...

I spent a lot of time in the greenhouse cataloging food and there was this one plant in particular that was SUPER bothering me. Because I knew I'd eaten some of it before, but not here. Couldn't remember what or why for the longest time. It was this stalk, not unlike a really tall piece of celery or something, and when I bit into it, the stuff tasted like buttered corn. Finally figured out where I'd had it before.

Not just that either. I think there might be Boar-bunnies in the forest. Don't quote me on it, but after you spend time hauling one back to a village to trade for meat, you sorta get a LONG look at those hooves.

Those two things put together means something very specific to me. Guys, someone tell me I'm just imagining things? Or don't and explain it. Because the two things are something I only encountered in one place before: the Graq homeworld. And the Agrii CLEARLY didn't know the Graq and it seemed like the reverse was true. So how am I running into that shit here?

[Not that he likes the idea of the reverse. If he's going mad, if he's gotten that family quirk going on, he's going to have a whole other mess of issues. And that is its own form of stress. But if what he saw was real, he has no ideas and that's freaking him out.]

I guess, what the FUCK is going on here?

[Tommy grins and snatches the frisbee again and throws it straight up.]

[Keith stepped back a bit just in case this ended up not working the way Tommy was hoping it did, but...

Kosmo jumped and was barely off the sand before he disappeared in a flash of light. There were two very quick flashes above them, with only a glimpse of blue fur before another flash back near the ground. The wolf landed easily, frisbee in his mouth.]

Okay... I hadn't tried that before... [Keith had honestly only been counting on horizontal distance, not vertical.]

Fucking hell you are literally the coolest mutt ever.

[Tommy absolutely was praising the damn thing, fluffing up the fur around its cute little doggy-like cheeks.

It's official. Tommy hates dogs. And wolves. But Kosmo? Best pet ever.]

You need to do it more. He's totally the coolest.

[Keith laughed as Kosmo just soaked up all the praise and attention. He flopped down into the sand and rolled over. Belly rub?]

Yeah. I guess I do. I'm gonna have to find something that can launch it high enough.

[Keith was okay with throwing, but he tended to do it more for throwing sharp pointy objects at enemies than any other reason. That didn't exactly give him a lot of distance. Great accuracy, though!]

Maybe talk to Tony, see if he'll make you something? Who knows.

[Because clearly Kosmo needed something to help him get going. He deserved it.]

Tony... Tony Stark? [Keith had to think about that one. He hadn't met him, yet, oddly enough.]

Yeah. He's from back home, an Avenger. But he's also like, a tech genius.

[Keith smirked a bit.]

Yeah. I know a couple of people like that from back home. They're not here, though. [He frowned a little, and then shrugged.] But, yeah. I'll ask him.

Awesome. If he wants help, I can do it. Ooh, or maybe he'll have an idea and I'll come up with a way to help him.

[Helping build a toy for Kosmo would make him so happy.]

[That got a smile out of Keith and he nodded.]

I'll let him know.

[In the meantime, he was going to consider Operation Tommy Needs a Distraction a success...]

[Tommy smiled and at last reached out to pat Keith on the shoulder.]

Hey man, thanks. A lot. For all of this.

[Keith turned when Tommy patted his shoulder. He smiled a little.]

Sure thing.

[doubled_speed]

[He hesitated and then shoved his hands in his pockets.]

Dude, I wanna hug you right now. Stupid, right?

[tempredmental]

Nah. [Keith shrugged.] We had a hugger on the team back home. He definitely would have hugged me by now in a situation like this.

Yeah, my brother's a hugger too. Teddy as well.

[And Tommy would be if he ever let himself.]

Oh, yeah?

[Keith smiled a little.]

I'm not much of a hugger, either, but... it's not bad all the time. Hunk's the team hugger. He hugs for like... everything. [Keith chuckled a little.] And he's a big guy, too, so it feel a little like being smothered and crushed at the same time. But not in a bad way. If that makes any sense...

Smothered and crushed is nice sometimes. Billy's guy, Teddy? He is like that. But it's weird now because he's an Emperor and an Emperor all giving you serious hugs, picking you up, and almost crushing your bones? Weird.

Yeah. I could see that.

But... just because he's an Emperor... that doesn't mean he's not the same person. He's still your friend, your brother's boyfriend. He's still Teddy.

[Just like Keith was still Keith even though they'd all found out suddenly that he was half-Galra.]

My brother's husband.

[It's a stupid correction, but one Tommy's making anyway. He was at the wedding. Both times. But it was still weird to consider how important they were and how not Tommy was.]

And he's got titles out the ass. And my brother is a prince and space wizard or something. But the hugs are still good.

[Keith nodded. Got it.]

Sorry, didn't know they were married.

[But it was all good. He'd remember in the future.]

But, yeah... I can see that. It is kind of weird sometimes when someone has some big important thing, and yet they're still really normal sometimes.

[Getting used to being friends with Allura had been like that. At first, it was easy to keep some distance between them because she was the Princess, and they were the Paladins. Though, Shiro had never let being the 'leader' go to his head. They had all kind of deferred to him right away anyway because of their Garrison connections, and Shiro had been the senior officer in the group.

But, once Allura had taken a role as a Paladin, and Keith was technically 'leader' because the Black Lion had chosen him in Shiro's absence, well...]

With Voltron, Allura is the Princess of Altea. But, she's still our friend and teammate.

They are when I'm from. They aren't when he is from. It's just easier to think of them as an old married couple because they've acted like it since they were, like, fifteen or some shit.

[Teddy was just about one of the most big important people there was and Tommy didn't always know how to reconcile that with his nerd friend.]

Sounds like you get it. Was she supposed to bring peace too?

[Keith nodded. Yeah. That made sense.]

Yeah, kinda. I mean, her father created Voltron, and she was supposed to inherit everything when she became queen. Voltron was created to keep peace and protect races and planets who were unable to protect themselves.

[Was created to keep peace. Something told Tommy from that phrasing that it didn't, well, it didn't work like that.]

What went wrong?

The original leader kind of turned evil. He was the Emperor of the Galra, and he moved so quickly that no one was able to stop him. It took ten thousand years to come even close.
