To Temba or Not to Temba
WHO: Obi-Wan Kenobi and YOU
WHERE: Temba and Not-Temba
WHAT: Exploring and such!
WHEN: During the event
WARNINGS: None atm
[Train and Arrival]
While several piled onto the first train out of Temba, Obi-Wan hung back for a bit. He had a lot to consider after all before he took off. That included making sure animals were taken care of. That things were worked out with Padme and the twins. As well as checking in with all of his padawans. There had to be at least a little bit of a plan and some organization before he left.
Eventually though, he did board a train with some supplies to take with him. The train is largely empty, and if he's alone he'll sit by himself and stare out a window until the train goes into the tunnel. But if there's someone there, he will meander over and gesture at a nearby seat. "May I?" Because one might as well pass the time with some conversation.
When they finally arrive though he will step off the train and either look for any familiar faces or go about exploring on his own.
[The Forest for the Trees]
Upon coming into the city, Obi-Wan can't help but be fascinated by all of the life that is thriving here. It may not be sentient life, but it is life nonetheless. The wild reclaiming much of the city with huge trees that one can't help but marvel at. The Jedi found admiring the tall plant life as he circled around one of the massive trunks. Then with seemingly little effort, the man makes a spectacular jump, one that should be impossible for an average human.
Jumping from limb to limb, the Jedi makes his way higher and higher into one of the tallest of the massive trees. Eventually going as high up as he could safely, taking a moment to look out at the view before settling onto a thick branch and admiring the animals that lived there. Doing his best not to bother them. It there that he takes the time to meditate, finding peace in the Force while surrounded by all of this life. A few curious animals approaching the serene Jedi with a few sitting near him or even perching on him as he stayed completely still. The wildlife seemingly unbothered by his presence with the calm aura be put out.
[Hangar]
After his meditations, Obi-Wan comes down from the tree and seeks out other explorers. At some point he manages to come across both Poe and the Mandalorian. The trio deciding to check out a building that he had seen from his vantage point in the tree, which suspiciously looked like a hangar.
"We shouldn't get our hopes up, but if there are ships in there, it could solve the problem of our currently over crowded vessels," Obi-Wan muses as they approach the building. That is if they would even be in good working order.
[Temba]
As fun as it was to have some place new to explore, eventually Obi-Wan had to go back, at least for a time. He had promised Padme that he would help take care of the twins, which meant taking a babysitting shift for a few days. At least until she came back or another babysitter came in to take his place.
During that time though he spent most of his time around the temple. But on occasion he did take the babies with him to the diner or out on walks in the city.

"I could try shooting it out." Din offers, because that usually works in his experience. "Or...I have my flamethrower." Din no.

“Move back little one,” he then says to the droid. The Jedi taking his lightsaber off his belt then igniting it. With a crackling hum the blade is twirled around and then plunged into the door. Sparks flying and metal melting like butter, Obi-Wan then starts to carefully and slowly cut his way through the door.

Din yes. Poe glances to the Mandalorian with an intrigued smirk, really wanting to see that in action. But a lightsaber is almost as cool.
"...That works too-"
BB-8 rolled back behind the trio, head plate tilting, and trilling in wonder.

"Or, we can do that." Jedi are such show offs.

It takes a couple minutes but Obi-Wan continues to cut through the metal. Effectively making a person sized circle in the door when he comes back to the point he started. Deactivating his lightsaber, he puts it back on his belt. Then with the push of his hand, he uses the Force to knock over the now cut metal. The piece falling to the floor of the building with a clang. Leaving them with a hole more than large enough to walk through.
Without further ado he steps inside, expecting the others to follow him.

Oh, and there were areas that the glow from the distant walls couldn't be seen. Large shadows, three of them actually. Shadows that, with sufficient light and proximity, would reveal three ships with names on their sides. They weren't labeled with the same, careful and exact letters that the ships back in Temba were. Instead they seemed marked with the awkward writing the Agrii were prone to, right down to the dried drips streaking down from the letters.
[OOC: This adventure party has discovered the Palm Cottage, the Cake Dance and the Flygood. Anyone with the pilot expertise will realize these ships are not currently locked down and can activate the opening protocols on these ships at this time, making it so that anyone may enter them at will until otherwise noted, regardless of what ship they are currently assigned to. The ships all have running power, but as with the ships in Temba, cannot be made to fly. Please see here for a description of each ship's interior.]

"Ships?" Poe echoes, face breaking into an eager grin, wanting to jog out after him, but without a light source of his own he has to stick close to the group.

"There are ships here." Din echoes. His thermals able to pick up the excited droid, but only faintly the cold ships. "Over here." He says, and heads in the droid's direction.

"So there are," he says as they all drew closer. Obi-Wan meandering towards one of them to hold up his lightsaber to view the hull. Spotting the sloppily painted lettering on it.
"Flygood?" His voice clearly indicating his amusement. "Hopefully it lives up to its name."

"Let's see if she does," he agrees, approaching the door- which surprisingly opens to allow them access. He hesitates a brief moment, peering inside to try and gauge if this might be some kind of trap, nodding for BB-8 to lead the way and following after.
He makes a beeline for the cockpit, but after a few different attempts he curses and kicks at one of the chairs. They were so close. "...It's grounded," he reports.
