[The helmeted visage that appears on-screen hesitates for a moment before nodding to a soft-spoken prompt from someone not on-camera.]
I... [Ugh. How do people even go about this?]
Greetings. [Yes. That seems about right.]
I have not been here long in this city, but neither have I made my presence all that known. I thought that this method would be most expedient to change that.
My... name is Felwinter. While I am no stranger to struggles of survival, I admit, I feel a little...out of my element here.
[By the slight turn of his head it seems that he looks somewhere past the camera, a point confirmed when the off-screen voice speaks up again with an encouraging, "Go on!"
Felwinter seems flustered a moment before he directs his attention to the tablet again.]
In my seeking to understand how I can be of better aid, I have explored the various datapoints and what knowledge they offer. The overwriting of information is...strange. -I digress, however.
My point being... What would be most useful?

Felwinter, my name is Moonshade. While I can't speak to what would be best for everyone, I know that you'd be able to help me with the processes required to work toward making silk cloth for everyone--including those who have no summerweight clothing--if you have the Agrii Culture data point.
Of course, if you wanted to trade it out for something else when not helping me, that wouldn't be a problem. I just could use a few extra hands while I work.

Felwinter sighs.]
Ah... I have not given much thought about the requirements of clothing and materials. Where I am from, it is quite frigid.
[If the greatcoat he wears isn't hint of that enough, but he doesn't seem bothered by it.]
Agrii...culture? [Understanding dawns upon him as he nods then.]
True enough. I will consider this.

If you decide not to help, I still have that building, but you don't need to know where it is.
[Cheeky little elf.]

[He nods again.]
I have not extensively explored that part of the city, but I intend to change that. If you do not mind demonstrating your work, I would like to see it.

It's the forge, southwest corner, can't miss it. Follow the smoke. I might put the fire on, too.

How convenient. I mean to head there shortly. I shall keep an eye out for smoke.
you THOUGHT you could just have a network post. you fool.
The forge was a long walk from the city core, but the smoke was indeed hard to miss even from a distance with so little other distractions within the city limits. The air was still and quiet, with hardly a breeze to redirect the faint, dark stain that roiled then feathered up into the pink sky. Tony wasn't bound to be anywhere else for some time, having hardly moved even through his quick exchange with Felwinter from where he contorted himself over his work. He sat on the worktop with it; the bench that had been dragged outside where the sun bearing down was still more tolerable than the heat of the forge itself, and sat crookedly in the trampled grass where one side of it sank into the ground under Tony's weight. With one leg tucked under him and the other stretched across the table, Tony hunched over the fractured pieces of a gauntlet that he was meticulously knitting together, most small enough that he was mostly singing his fingers with the solder and had long since grown numb to the headache he had given himself by squinting through the fumes. At the sound of an approach, he remembered all at once that he was supposed to be playing host and glanced around in a crack of tight joints for a drink to offer, at least. He still wasn't exactly used to people actually being here.
Maybe it was a trap all along!!

[ Ikora makes sure her ghost is in frame with her marking her as a guardian. ]

...as well as one can expect.
You have heard of me.

[ Ikora is debating whether to tell him she is from a future where he is dead and long laid to rest. ]
If you are looking for some way to make yourself useful there is always clearing rubble from important buildings like the hospital and library.

[He's heard the name. The Risen and former warlord who's been banding together with like-minded others. He's considered...
Well, now's neither there nor then. He moves on.]
I have seen the state of these buildings. Some are better than others. Is it truly all from time and the storms?
Also, your name. I do not know you. The librarian has mentioned two...Guardians present, however. I assume you are one of these.
no subject
I am Ikora Rey, a Risen with powers similar to your own. [ And a preference for shotguns as well. ]
And yes, the storms seem specifically designed to interfere with technology. The repeated occurrence has battered them down. For a long time there weren't enough people to rebuild.

Can I ask what sort of stuff you did back home?
[A nod. And then hesitation.]
...research.
I am however quite adept at killing as well.
[He does not sound terribly proud of it, but it is fact. His tone in general bears something of a metallic echo, but that could also be due to his helmet.]

[Good to know this person can handle himself in a fight, although Ezra's pretty sure a perhaps disproportionate percentage of their little community answers to that description.]

When you come from a place such as the one I do, you learn to do what you need to survive, rather quickly. It is not a peaceful nor very kind world.
ty for patience! being sick sucks!
Too many aren't.
This world has bad times. But not often enough for you to be doing something you hate to survive.
>_<
[He looks at his hand, contemplatively.]
Things have simply become necessity. I can't say that I hate or like what I do. It is just what I have had to do.
...but at least here, maybe I won't have to keep running.
