1. Talking About What Happened Closed to Poe | Evening of the 7th, Reeve's Office
Reeve hadn't really been big on the idea of sticking around in the Waiting Room when they had awoken. His memories of being stuck in Calibrations were not hte greatest, and he had decided he wasn't going to risk sticking around there. He had grabbed Mini up and headed right out, not daring to question, not waning to linger. There were memories and a life to process and he didn't much like it.
It wasn't until later that night that he reached out to Poe with a message. After quite a bit of thought he had known what the truth was. They had to talk. So he'd sent a message, asking for Poe to meet him in his space. They had to figure things out. He had to figure whether Poe might forgive him for what he'd apparently said and done there.
2. Welcome To Temba, Your Timing Sucks Closed to Rufus | Morning of the 8th, Reeve's Office
The meeting hadn't been a bad one, in Reeve's estimation. Poe was a wonderful companion and he quite liked his time with his boyfriend. A nice talk, a lazy morning afterward, and Reeve had been happy to send the other man off in the morning. He had happily watched Poe slip out after morning coffee together, sitting at Reeve's work table in the front room. Reeve hadn't even bothered to put on much more than his long coat that morning, hadn't bothered to make his bed yet, hadn't even begun to work on the final stages of Mini's upgraded form. Instead he'd sat smiling at the table, his hair ruffled, sipping at the final dregs of his coffee as the door closed, not even paying attention to Mini as the doll worked on sorting through papers on the table top, making sure nothing had been lost in the change of the last month.
So Reeve, most definitely, wasn't expecting someone to show up at his door.
3. Just A Little Drink Open To All | Evenings of the 8th through 12th, The Deep End
Well, that was a thing that had most definitely happened. Reeve didn't know what to do with himself with Rufus here. With Cloud nad VIncent he had known what to do, what his place was with his companions and friends. It was enough for Reeve to just, well, fall into a habit he hadn't had in a very long time. Though he supposed it was hardly a habit if he didn't sustain it. Reeve sighed and settled himself at a chair at the bar, sitting down and looking at the counter. So what was the etiquette here, how did one even go about getting alcohol?
"Um, hello?"
Maybe he didn't want to be as alone as he thought.

"Um, hello?"
Maybe he didn't want to be as alone as he thought.

He picked up the bottle from earlier, a silent inquiry of whether Reeve wanted his glass topped off.
no subject
"We're merely guests," he agreed, offering his glass out. Yes, he could use more.

"The last one, I was lucky. I'm half afraid that one will knock out the magic that gives Mini life. I don't know how to protect him from them."

OR, at least, he assumed Cayde was not.
no subject
"Anyway," the Exo continued with a shrug, "-powers cut out, but my Ghost was still alive."
no subject
"I was not out in the storm long after we crashed. But long enough that I hope was a sign that MIni would survive."
no subject
He nodded then. "I didn't think you had to be out in the storm to be affected. It was kind of just everywhere, wasn't it? Although I think the effects did get worse once we were within the city..." That's when the illusions took form, so realistic that others could see and hear them as well.

"The Whale Comb Center seemed warded against it somehow," Reeve pointed out. He'd spent most of his time there because of his fear that his remembered fears might cause true damafe.
no subject
"Ahem. Sorry. But yeah- I think I remember that. Getting there was the rough part."
no subject
"I was lucky and got there relatively quickly. I didn't step back out again."
no subject
That last storm had been a harsh one, more so being the first the Exo (and quite a few others he's sure) had only just experienced. The warnings only mentioned loss of powers and seeing people. None of the extra stuff.
"The uh, Whale Comb center stocked up for future emergencies?"
no subject
"If I am honest, I am so caught up in this project with Cobb that I had not thought to look. That is something that should be brought up and addressed. Perhaps we can preserve some of the food the greenhouse grows. Oh my..."
He needs to go check the place for structural stability now, before he frets too much. Reeve stands, and perhaps wavers a little on his feet.
no subject
"We've all kind of been preoccupied with things, and I guess we can't blame anyone for wanting to take advantage of the downtime to breathe. Not saying some prep shouldn't be done of course."
no subject
"It should be done. I've been so busy with houses and the water grid and power. I forgot about emergency supplies. I miss having a secretary to write down all of my schedule needs."
Mini, on the counter, crossed his arms over his chest. Clearly someone thought he was a secretary.
no subject
"Hey, it's not all on you. True, someone should've thought about it, but there aren't any fingers to be pointed. At least we've thought about it now, so we can do something. We have time to do it. So sit yourself down before you hurt yourself."
no subject
He was supposed to be someone who thought ahead.
no subject
no subject
"I'll see if we can't get people thinking about that soon."
no subject
"Mini, I'm putting you in charge of making sure this guy takes a break now and then," he said, glancing over at the little cat-being. "Also give him plenty of hugs- not that I think that should be a problem because you are oh-so-huggable but..." He grinned.
no subject
"He's a very devoted companion," Reeve answered. "And defensive of me. I feel like I don't do enough for him."
no subject
no subject
"I don't know, there is always things worth doing."
