Something isn't right. The message might come from someone you were just having a conversation with, it might come from someone you've never heard of before, or it might come from your entire list of contacts at once. However it comes, it's a flood, sudden and violent, a series of the same message until it stops just as suddenly as it began. If you're the type to check, you might find your whole message history, from the first time you made an awkward introduction to the heartfelt reassurance you've gone back to read a dozen times now, every message reads the same: GIVE HIM BACK

We have to let them grieve. They're angry now but it will roll on as grief does.
