Senator +2
WHO: Padme Naberrie Amidala and YOU
WHERE: All over the place
WHAT: March catch-all
WHEN: ... March
WARNINGS: Pregnancy. Birth in later prompts.
The Vanquish
She'd certainly been awake a moment ago. And she'd certainly been on a different ship. With some difficulty, she manages to sit up and swing her feet over the edge of the bunk. One hand presses against her belly as she looks around. This is very concerning.
Getting to her feet, she steps out into the corridor of the strange ship. Decision made. There's no point in sitting around and waiting. She sets out to search the ship for an owner... or answers.
To market, to market.
They're only there for another week or so, then they'll be back where the others had come from. Needless to say, she's going to need more clothes than what she was wearing. She can be found flitting between the various markets in the nearby vicinity, stocking up on clothing, accessories, toiletries, and anything else she might need. Also luggage. She'll definitely need some luggage to pack it all in.
If she sees someone who looks like they don't quite fit in (either by their clothes or the way they're looking at everything) she'll approach them with a smile. "Hello. If I might be so bold: are you from Agra 10?"
About the City (Near the end of the month) CW for beginning labor
Once Padme had learned about the unlimited credit they'd been given, she knew she had to put it to good use. Once she'd bought all of the things she would need, she bough out several markets worth of clothes, food, and other useful items. Hiring some people and droids to help, she had them all boxed up and sent to lower-income areas of the city. She'd lived there long enough to know where it would do the best good. Things had changed in 900 years, but not that much.
Holding her belly, she gestures to a droid. "No, no. That box goes over there with the crates of food going to CoCo Town." The droid beeps and toddles off.
As it leaves, Padme frowns, swaying a little. A protocol droid approaches her, "Are you quite alright? Perhaps you should sit."
Padme nods, "Yes. Yes I think that's a good idea."
IT'S TIME! (Near end of the month) (Closed to Obi-Wan. Anyone else can sit in the waiting room.) CW: Birth (non graphic)
Padme cries out in pain, reaching out, searching for Obi-Wan's hand. "Obi-Wan... please don't leave me. I can't...." She cries out again. "I can't do this alone!"
A Jedi healer smiled kindly at Padme. "You're doing fine. You all are."
Wildcard!
((Do you want to hang with the Senator and don't like any of these prompts? Let me know! You got to know her during one thread and want to do a second one coming to visit her and the twins? GO FOR IT! You do you, I'm not going to stop you. As always I'm

Vanquish
So here is a young man, with prominent scars on his left cheek, that might be recognizable to someone familiar with marks left by lightsabers, in a Jedi like brown grey cloak over more colorful street wear, unpacking a couple of boxes of teas and spices from his pack.
Ezra looks up with a blink. New person on ship. Very pregnant looking new person with....an indistinct but very bright feel in the Force? Was that the baby or her?
"Oh. Um. New shipmate?" he tries, awkwardly.
no subject
"New shipmate? I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know what you mean. I just woke up here. I'm not even certain what ship this is, it's certainly not mine."
no subject
"Um. Well, this is the Vanquish. I'm Ezra. Ezra Bridger. Does Agra 10 or Temba ring any bells? At all?"
no subject
Shaking her head slightly, she looked back at Ezra. "I apologize, I'm being rude. I'm Padme Amidala. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ezra. I do seem to have some knowledge of Agra 10, though I'm not entirely certain how."
no subject
"So, for most of us, this goes...you wake up the middle what's left of Temba, by a fountain. There's a glowing ball. That's a data point. If you touch it, you get information dropped into your mind. It's weird, but harmless. Maybe you got the dump straight into your head?"
He makes a disconcerted face. "Not sure if that's better or worse. But right now, we're on a planet called Coruscant. There's a bunch of us from kinda of around here, if not exactly this time period, and the Agrii would like to try to figure out why. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense," he concludes, apologetically.
And now that he's shut up, he internally winces some more, because that was maybe more of an information dump than was useful, or polite, for that matter.
no subject
She frowns, clearly concerned. "No... that can't be. I just left Coruscant. What do you mean by 'not exactly this time period'?"
no subject
Then he pauses, because wait....if the Rebel Alliance overthrows Palpatine and restore the Republic, people could be saying that a century or so after his own time.
History is confusing.

"Yes..." She whispered. "I was there. It had only just happened for me and with everything else... I suppose it hasn't completely sunken in, yet."
no subject
"You said you'd just left Coruscant. I know there was a lot of violence in the first few days of the Empire. You were...trying to get out?" he asks, a little more gently.
He doesn't realize she means actually there, as part of the Senate. But - her clothes looks nice. She's so clearly about to have a baby. And smart enough to know the Empire meant nothing good. Getting out of the Core would have been a wise thing to do.
no subject
"Yes and no. With the Senate gone I had no need to stay in Coruscant. But someone I love very much was in danger... I was going to help him."
no subject
"And now you're here, and it looks like he's not. Force, I'm really sorry," he says, heavily. He assumes she means the father of her child, but whatever the relationship is...well, a loved one is enough. "I got yanked out of a pretty bad situation, too, but I was already thinking it could be a long time, if ever, before I'd get to see my family. Temba was a lot safer for me, actually, so it was hard to be upset about it."
no subject
Her heart goes out to the boy. She understands the feeling of being alone and frightened and missing loved ones. She makes a mental note to keep an eye on him as much as she can.
no subject
"Now. How can I help you...is it Mrs. Amidala?" he asks, very unsure of his ability to come with the right form of address on the spot. "Not everyone brought to Temba from our galaxy, but some are. Maybe you should speak to them? Some of them are from closer to your time, even."
no subject
"Padme, please." She smiled warmly. She wouldn't have let him call her Senator, either. What was the point of a title when she didn't hold the position there? "I'm sure I will in time. But for now, perhaps you can show me around the ship? It's unlike any I've been on before, so I'm a little lost."
no subject
"Tour, such as it is, sure. And. Oh. You may have heard some pretty disturbing things about Jedi and clone troopers in all that mess," he realizes. "We... have both. Not sure how to explain it all quickly, but. You don't need to worry about safety from them."
no subject
no subject
He takes a deep breath. "The whole war was a great big trap."
no subject
She shook her head, tears welling in her eyes. "No... No, that can't be true."
no subject
"I'm just a student. I haven't crossed blades with him. I'm not that good; I'm sure I'd be dead. But Palpatine wanted things from me."
He tilts his chin up, jaw setting. "I've faced him. The Emperor is a Sith Lord."
no subject
Anakin.
She felt faint. He'd manipulated her. Used her to get closer to power. One hand groped for the wall, seeking for anything to help her keep her feet.
no subject
...on top of her whole world falling apart before she even came here.
And yet, he couldn't shake the certainty that she needed to know.
He reaches out, hand hovering under her elbow, ready to try to catch her. "Padme...let's. Let's back up to the kitchen. So you can sit down." Because he didn't think the narrow bunks up ahead would be comfortable.
no subject
She'll appreciate being told later. But right now, she's overwhelmed and emotional and heartbroken... none of which is good when one is carrying twins. She nods at his suggestion, unable to speak, yet, but accepting his help to lead her there.
no subject
"I can get you some water. Or, I can make some tea. I just got some Alderaanian mint."
That's supposed to be soothing right?
