The Bishop | Welcome to Coruscant
WHO: The Bishop Crew (Poe Dameron, Cal Kestis, Lance, ARC-1409 "Echo"), Open upon landing
WHERE: In The Galaxy
WHAT: Is Going On
WHEN: Long, Long Ago...but right now too
WARNINGS: ???, probably slight trauma
= = =
Sleeping and waking in stationary shuttle was nothing new. It had been that way for a while now, a strange routine that brought about a faint sense of normalcy planet-bound. Yet it was the familiar rocking, drifting feeling like the shuttle was in motion urged a greater sense of wakefulness in the ARC Trooper who only began to drift off after hours of lying motionless on the bunk.
Something obviously wasn't right.
As soon as the door opened, Echo made his way out into the corridor, brow furrowed as he checked his gear. "Guys?" Shifting his helmet under an arm, his free hand reached into one of his pouches to fish out his communication device, automatically tapping on the newest notification. "What's going on..."
Whale Comb to Coruscant!
His eyes widened as they fell on those words.
He recognized that name. And he wouldn't be the only one who did.
"Poe?" He called out, forcing himself into a controlled stride than an outright dash to the cockpit. "Cal? Lance? Is this some kind of trick?"

"What is it, buddy?" he asked, grabbing his communicator to look at the message that had come up. His expression suddenly fell, shifting from uncertainty to outright dread. "Oh no..." the padawan said, pushing himself to his feet and stumbling towards the doorway, the droid leaping onto his back as he did so.
"No, no, no..."
He caught up with Echo easily, but before he could say anything his eyes drifted towards the cockpit as the all too familiar planet loomed before them, stopping his words cold.

He looked back to the others as they came racing in, holding his palms up briefly to try and keep things calm.
"I'm going to bring it in slow as I can while we figure this out, okay? I need you two to help figure out what kind of timeline we're looking at here."
The Agrii have pulled people from their galaxy from every possible time, so naturally, Poe couldn't be sure this was Coruscant as he knew it. Or as any of them knew it.
"If we see any sign of Imperials we'll need to get the word out to the others before they land."

Upon hearing the approach of the Scrapper, he turned his head, not quite seeing the expression Cal wore. But Poe had the right idea, and they all needed to figure out what was going on and quickly.
"...Alright," the clone finally said after the pause. "That's about all we can do right now."

Cal swallows, nodding at the pilot, and then at Echo. "BeeDee and I will start some scans, see if we can get a good look at the ships in the area." The models and makes should be as good a way to identify eras as much as anything.
no subject
"We'll get through this," he promised, a more pointed look to Cal in that moment, and a nod to try and reassure him. He wasn't going to let anything happen to him.

That military persona is all it takes for the clone to fall back into what he's familiar with. "If it comes down to it, I'll take point," he says in response to the worst case scenario Dameron puts out there, not looking up as he reads and listens for anything out of the ordinary. Which is...everything at this point, both helpful and not so helpful. He keeps his communication device on the console as well, a third thing to keep track of but a necessary outlet if it keeps them in contact with everyone else not on their shuttle.
The tension is tangible. He also looks back to Cal. "Poe's right. We'll get through this," he agrees.

"Sorry..." he murmurs under his breath as he sets to work. A Jedi shouldn't lose his calm so easily, but then how could any of them have ever anticipated being sent to this galaxy and this world of all places? BD-1 hops over his arm and perches on the console, the both of them scanning screens, bringing up closer images of the ships they see. "...I'm seeing ships that at a glance look familiar but nothing I can really identify. No Imperial craft, that's good news." A frown mars his brow. "Actually none of these ships look like anything I've seen before. What about you, Poe?" he asks, turning back towards the pilot.

He glances to Echo, hoping to hear a similar conclusion. "We clear to land? Suss things out more at ground level?"
no subject
"...Yessir. They gave us clearance," he answers, meeting Poe's gaze. "We apparently have a port assigned to us." Even with the purposeful vagueness on his end, he's left with many questions as to why it all sounded so simple. It ties in with the pilot's other question, however, the curt nod given as he slips off the headset and returns it to its hook. "Looks like we'll have to."
With that, the device disappears into his pouch pocket and his helmet is slapped on, tapping Cal on the arm with the back of his hand in passing as he turns to head toward the back of the shuttle.

"Guess I can't say I'm too surprised. The Agrii managed to to get us all settled in on some kind of resort before, somehow. And if they can get enough credits then no one's going to ask too much questions so long as there's good business."
Not that he's able to relax completely even knowing all that. It's still Coruscant, a place he hasn't seen in half a decade. He lifts his head as Echo passes him by with that reassurance, managing a small smile. at least he's in good company. Cal looks over at Poe, nodding then.
"Ready whenever you are," he says.

He knows this must be rough on him, being back here.

"Although at the same time I don't want to cause any trouble if I'm with you all and recognized." He frowns as he reconsiders, finally nodding. "Maybe going with your plan might be best."
