Thanks. I do have a few things, but it's very hard to use it if I do. To take it off, I'd have to deactivate it and I can't do that on my own.

It's kind of a long story. I lost it the first time when I was the Galra Empire prized champion. I lost it the rest of the way when Keith cut off the arm a clone of me trying to stop it from killing him.

Yeah, well, that's still not even half of it. That's just the short version of it. Yes, in my world, the Galra are a race that is bent on conquering the entire universe. Either you work with them, work for them, or are defeated by them. Only options. I... was a fighter in their ring. Not by choice.

Yeah, like a gladiator. Yeah, it wasn't good, but the arm they gave me did come in handy a few times as well as knowing how to fight.

Yeah, that one did a lot of things. As much as I disliked it on principle... it did save my and my friends' lives many times.

I don't know that we've gotten to that point of ultimate peace of mind... but there was something oddly pleasing about attacking them with their own creation.

Yeah, probably not. Although everybody probably should have a list of skills so we know who ought to do what... I guess that's a bit overkill.

No, I think having a list as to who had what skills would be useful. Wouldn't want to ask someone to garden when they were actually a doctor back home. They might still be willing, but then we wouldn't know they could provide medical care.

Yeah! And if we have gaps, we can see who can use which data point, right? Like I'm scared of hospitals but if we need a medic that's too bad, I'd suck it up and touch the magic glowing ball.

Like this is basically society in miniature. But not late stage capitalism so it's actually like we could theoretically do better!

Exactly. A miniature society is a good way to describe it. We could also figure out where we are lacking if we know what we have like you said and who is willing to learn more to fix that.

More efficient that way.

I'd like to say we will find a way out quickly but based on talking to others, we have to be prepared to be here for the long haul. Some have already been here for quite a long time.
