[Between waking up in his bunk onboard the Twin Roses, to what he initially thought was a pink plushie sarlaac, and being rained on by glitter everywhere he goes. Din really isn't in the greatest of moods. This glitter's going to take a month to clean out of his armor. Agrii you just like to aggravate him don't you? He's not feeling the love at all.
He'd left the hangar to clear his head with an early patrol around the city. What he didn't expect, was to walk into the center of the city, and get roared at. Apparently the Agrii weren't quite done throwing surprises at him today. The video comes on to show his t-visored gaze. If you could see his face he'd look aggravated. However the voice coming out of the vocoder certainly sounds annoyed.]
They can't stop messing with us can they? First the light and glitter. Now this. [Here he flips the camera around to show a rather large blue grey creature, complete with saddle, and bit with reigns, and covered in the falling glitter.]
What the hell is a blurrg doing here? [The creature turns to give another high pitched roar toward the camera. But it seems more annoyed, and distracted, by the shiny stuff that keeps falling on it. Making annoyed sounds in it's futile attempts to shake the stuff off.]

I laughed at the name suggestion xD
....I'll take it into consideration. Thanks.
What's your name?
It has a certain ring to it
Oh, it's Kyle Broflovski.

Besides naming weird animals, clearly I'm awesome at that. Uh, what should I call you, sir?

Who knows what the Agrii think. When bringing people.
Names Mando.

Mando. Okay, cool. Uh, question: does the helmet come off?
no subject
[Why is he not surprised that came up? It always does at some point.]
No. The helmet stays on.

No living thing has seen my face, since I took my creed.
no subject
Not trying to be offensive, dude. Different planet.

Mandalorian Creed. To become a warrior, I took the creed when I came of age.
no subject
What's the creed exactly? Or is it secret?
Info is so limited on this X.x
It's a set of rules I follow. If my helmet is removed in front of another living thing, I can never put it back on. [Which, certain recent events back home are starting to make him question.] By creed, I also help and protect fellow Mandalorians. [Which this place makes moot, since he's the only one here.]
And...by creed, I have a...foundling in my care. Until he's of age, or I reunite him with his kind.
it's just mysterious!
Okay. I think I get it. So this is like... it gives you an outline for how to live your life. That's pretty cool, dude.
What's a foundling?

Really? [The species on his world that cover their faces all the time is rare. Tuskens, Jawas, and some others. But they certainly weren't in steel.] I take it you don't go to the temple often.
Yes. The creed outlines a lot of the things I do. [Of course there's exceptions to it. But he does what he has to.]
It's...an orphaned child. They're taken in, and cared for.

Is it hard to stick to?
Oh! Oh, shit, there's a little kid here?! [He is visibly distressed by this information.] Dude, if you need any help, I can watch em. I had a baby brother growing up, I'm a pretty good babysitter.
no subject
No. [Yes, recently anyway.] I've followed the creed since I was young.
I already have people that watch him, when it's needed. [And no offense Kyle, bu they only just met.] ...thank you, however.

Other religions do keep their heads covered all the time. Earth has a lot of religions, if you hadn't guessed.
Like the same age as the kid you're looking after? Which, like, no problem dude but if you get stuck I'll protect the little guy. I like kids.
