So. That direction would be where the tower is. Just trust me on this since there's no blinking light.

But if we look out this way-

[The feed shifts again, passing over sparse furnishings and old, rusted gears of the clock tower before looking out another gaping hole where there's fewer buildings grouped and lit, but the most noticeable thing is a light winking on and off in the darkened distance.]

...though we may have to be more precise if we really want some clarity.

Yeah, and simpler too, I think. Maybe ask if they built the tower? Then go from there. No point having more questions of the first answer is no.

What should we do about it anyway? Looks like it's been completely depowered, so nothing's stopping us from getting into its guts.

I'm not the expert on technology or electronics around here, but- It hasn't exploded or simply vanished, so... I don't see any reason why we shouldn't make use of it. Maybe we can learn something about the technology being used here.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Get a team to get into its guts- hey wait. Did we get anyone engineery to look at it?

Let's be real now, I wouldn't be surprised if he has. But if there's anything actually Agrii-designed then someone who's taken the engineering data-thingy would be able to tell, right? This thing could be completely foreign or maybe repurposed.

I can only speak for the symbols and those weren't Agrii.

There are a few engineers around I believe. At least everyone that isn't me seems to know how to build a robot or repair a space ship.

Well hey, I don't know how to build a robot or repair a space ship. Anyway, guess at the end of the day it depends on how many hands we want diving into this thing.

Mine are firmly staying out of it. But I believe I know two people that actually picked up Engineering.

-hey, I'm better at shooting things. I can tinker a bit with machinery but I'm not like, specialized in the stuff. If I had serious issues with my sparrow or my jumpship, I'd bring it by Holliday and she'd take care of it.

I may like to know things, but that doesn't mean I have to actively destroy them. I'm fine with reading a report once someone actually competent took a look at it.

-first to say not it! Bad enough having to write up reports on field missions and investigations back home. Reporting on taking apart alien hardware is not something I'll ever sign up for.

I didn't mean willingly destroy it. But that's the inevitable outcome if I were to try and figure the thing out.
