Greetings everyone. For those that I have not yet met, my name is Ben Kenobi and I am a recent arrival to this planet.

[The image is of one very calm and serene looking Jedi who is sitting cross legged in some random place around the city. He had been doing some meditating before deciding to officially make his presence known on the network for the first time.]

Now that I have settled in as well as one can, I have been considering the matter of these data points. I believe it would be useful for me use one. The question is which? That is what I’m hoping you might help me with. It seems to be an important decision.

So I am asking. Where is our community lacking? I wish to be of most use to everyone here. So I’m hoping you might give me feedback so that I can make a decision accordingly. How can I contribute best to our little society? Do we need medics? Pilots? Or something else? Please do let me know what you think.

[Like he did with Cayde, Obi-Wan holds up a strange metallic cylinder. It’s glowing blue blade coming to life as he activates it.]

A lightsaber. It’s a plasma energy sword.

[There's a conflicted look of awe and resentment at the sight of it, Catra's eyes widening.]

Oh great, more magic swords. Are you the 'chosen one' of where ever you're from too?

No. That was my former apprentice.

[And he’s not even kidding.]

Sounds like you have had experience with these before?

[She blinks, picturing some version of She-Ra out there dressed like this guy.]

Not quite like that. More of a literal magic sword. But one of the guys that used to be on my ship had one kind of like. It was red and crackly though.

Ah, yes, I have heard of him though I don’t believe anyone actually gave me his name.

Those with the red variety I typically like to avoid anyway.

Well, that doesn’t seem to match up with anyone I know at least.

So what makes your blue one so much better, mm?

As far as effectiveness, it’s not.

It’s the principle of the matter. The weapons are powered by living stones attuned to the light side of the Force. A red blade means that a dark side user has bent the crystal to their will and bled it, resulting in the color.

They give the princesses their powers.

[She gives him a look like it should be obvious, and there's definitely a bitter note to how she speaks about it.]

[There is certainly some history there as Obi-Wan definitely picks up on that bitterness. He doesn’t comment on it though and simply nods in understanding.]

I see, but no, they are not the same thing. I was born with my powers. The crystal in my lightsaber is something I earned through trials. I had to prove myself before it accepted me. It is more like a companion, and my most precious possession.

[It still sounds the same to Catra if that frown is anything to go by, but eventually she shrugs a shoulder.]

If you don't want Security all the other data points are boring.

Boring? You really think so? Have you ever piloted a ship?

...I piloted a skiff once.

[Her ears turn in contemplation, thinking back to fighting with Adora for control.]

The ships here hardly go anywhere though, so...boring.

[Obi-Wan has to chuckle a bit at that, especially as Catra seems to blush a little bit.]

I can assure you it's not always boring. Especially if one finds themselves in a fire fight.

I mean, if we had tanks or something, those are fun.

Is blowing things up the only thing you consider fun?

[She examines a claw in consideration.]
