Greetings everyone. For those that I have not yet met, my name is Ben Kenobi and I am a recent arrival to this planet.

[The image is of one very calm and serene looking Jedi who is sitting cross legged in some random place around the city. He had been doing some meditating before deciding to officially make his presence known on the network for the first time.]

Now that I have settled in as well as one can, I have been considering the matter of these data points. I believe it would be useful for me use one. The question is which? That is what I’m hoping you might help me with. It seems to be an important decision.

So I am asking. Where is our community lacking? I wish to be of most use to everyone here. So I’m hoping you might give me feedback so that I can make a decision accordingly. How can I contribute best to our little society? Do we need medics? Pilots? Or something else? Please do let me know what you think.

I do have to commend you on your little garden on the ship. That is no small feat.

If you ever need any help with your diner, I would be happy to help. Though as I’ve already told someone else, cooking isn’t one of my talents. Yet I’m willing to learn.

Tony Stark designed one of the sets. The other one was a gift from a guy that isn't even here anymore.

Well, it sounds like I have a choice to make. Considering all the feedback I’m leaning towards either medical or piloting.

See, normally when people offer that to me, whole different expectations for the day.

Medical is good too. My twin does that. Piloting is useful. Do what makes you feel chill.

[Theres a tilt of Obi-Wan’s brow at that and it takes a moment for realization to dawn. The Jedi suppressing the urge to roll his eyes.]

I can assure you that you shall get no such offers of that nature from me. No offense.

The problem with the human mind is that they tend to box people into 'us' and 'them'.

Not only the human mind I'm afraid, but yes, that is very true. Most everyone considers only their own interests.

Crabs. When you put them in a pot and start the water boiling? They reach for each other and drag the ones that almost escape back down. It's a metaphor, thing.

So an analogy then. I see. It seems to be a fitting one at least.

A very fitting one. People talk about how it's what people do. Trying to keep each other on the same level, which means no one can escape what is bad.
