This was certainly not the last place that Shiro remembered being. He had last remembered returning to Earth and ending up with his new robotic arm. As he stood there for a long moment, wracking his brain, there wasn't much more after that. Certainly, there wasn't enough he would have suddenly found himself here in a world that seemed far more dilapidated than the Garrison was with far fewer technologies.

The information that suddenly came to him was certainly helpful, but very disturbing to him. After all, what had most of his recent life been like other than some other being deciding he needed to be somewhere that he didn't consent to going?

Typical.

But Shiro was out in the town and exploring. Sure, he had the device and he did pause a few times to review it, specifically looking at the map more than anything else, but still, he'd rather see them for himself. After he had figured out where he was going, he could see if there was anything that he could assist with. If he was going to be here, might as well do something productive.

"Ah. So this is a common thing. Probably better to try and be as self-sufficient as possible then. Don't want to ask for peanut butter and get peanuts in the shell in heavy cream."

Shiro nodded. "It's a complicated thing. You know they are in a better place, but at the same time, they were people that you cared about, that you talked to. So it's both good and bad."

Exactly.

"Oh no, they'll get peanut butter right. But they'll also give you things that look like burgers and taste like peanut butter. The one thing we know is that Agrii like the taste of peanut butter."

So it's safe, even if it's a potential allergen and pretty much everyone would come after Tommy if he tried to serve them peanuts at this point. But he definitely nods at what Shiro notes.

"In a place like this, it's like those movies where people become sorta like family by the end. So you're losing people you care about. You've gotta figure out how much you're willing to open yourself up to that."

"Oh... well, that's odd. I guess kind of like the blue banana."

Shiro nodded his head, understanding. "Yeah, sometimes family is not the ones you are given, but the ones that you make. Even though it will hurt when they are gone, it was still good to know them at the time."

"Yeah, like the cyanana," Tommy agrees with a smile. Picking it up pretty fast there, Shiro.

Family is definitely something to be pleased with finding. And he hoped Shiro could find some here too.

"Sounds like you'll manage to find something here."

"I suspect that I will."

Shiro surveyed the glownies that had gathered. "It looks like these guys have all had their brushing so we can probably take the wool we have back so we can figure out what to do with it."

"Sounds like a plan," Tommy grins. He moves quickly through the discarded wool, gathering it all up until he had an armload of glow.

"Alright then, I'm ready to go."

Shiro did the same, gathering up discarded wool, promising the ponies he'd come to see them again and bring more mint when he did. Whether they understood or not, it didn't really matter. They were happy.

"I'm ready too."

"Alright then, let me show you the real way out of here. Through the greenhouse or the main door here? Which do you want?"

Because he can do either, but not really both.

"Main door works for me." He's not sure the difference, so he'll take a random pick there.

"This way then," Tommy says, starting off at a reasonable human pace.

"Hey Shiro? I think you're going to fit in well here."

Reasonable human pace is good. Shiro can handle reasonable human pace, walking alongside him.

He glanced over at him as he spoke and then smiled. "Thanks."

Well, Tommy smiled back at Shiro. Nice, right?

"You're welcome. Whenever you need me, just call. I'll be here, Snow-Bro."

"Will do. And you can always call me as well."

[doubled_speed]

"I'll keep it in mind," Tommy says. Thought he thinks he will actually do it. It's not like him to reach out much.
