[ Hello, here's the familiar face and voice of your local green haired, green eyed, green lipped mutant. ]

Humor me for a second, especially my fellow nerd residents. Has anyone not native to this world done, or ever tried to do, any work-slash-research on the geophysics of the world here? Because if you have, I'm curious and have questions.

[ A beat of silence for a half second, then she speaks again: ]

Where I'm from, a version of a planet called Earth, I have a masters degree in geophysics — which is worth all of jack shit here on a non-Earth planet! Howeverrrrr .... I still have an interest in the subject, even if my Earth rules won't and don't always apply here.

So. That's all I've got.

Can't say I have... But it's not exactly my field, either.

[ Jon offers a small shrug. Why exactly does he react to a shout-out for the local nerds? ]

Though having some more information on that area for Agra 10 may be useful, I agree.

I certainly try collecting what information there is that might be of use to us. Either now or further down the line. Still...

[ A small sigh. ]

It hardly feels like I have anything of worth. My own observations, at best. And I fear that... I might focus more on the paranormal than the scientific these days than I probably should.

I haven't been able to get the best readings on this place to come to any helpful conclusions, but I did have an idea that could get us more data. On this, and so much more.

Heh. [Beck grins, head turning in acknowledgement.] I want to get a satellite into orbit. We can use it for communication, data calculations, you name it. If we can pull this off we expand our range, and if we can't use it to get off this rock, we can at least learn more about it. Maybe even track those storms, or figure out what's causing them.

[Well now here was an interesting idea from a clearly interesting person.]

My work is more in engineering and city planning, so I admit that I have not made attempts to study such things. My goal has been more on the power plant being fully functional for the whole city.

Yet this is a question that should be explored. Are there any conclusions you have come to yet?

That is sad to hear. I hope that some conclusions are possible. If you do not know him, Stark might be able to assist.
