So, that was a really trying couple weeks.
I just wanted to remind everyone that if they need anything they can drop by the hospital.

Please tell me it wasn't a shotgun wedding. Did he knock me up? [He shares a teasing look, only able to speculate as to what had really prompted the hurried wedding. He's been tossing a whole lot of questions at Tommy, and he feels like each answer gets stranger than the last.]

Uh, pretty sure you'd have to want to be knocked up, which please don't do, thanks. It's likely more his thing to be.

[He sighs.]

Space calls, Billy. Teddy's not going to be able to run from his birth forever. But he'll have you at his side, mister Prince-Consort and Court Wizard.

[Billy shrugs. They're in a kind of unique situation there. But that's way way future stuff.]

He's not running, he's- [He sighs, but eventually gives a solemn nod. ] Is it at least his choice?

From what I understood, it was more... he could do it, or the universe could sorta end.

[Billy, life is never that easy on any of them.]

[Well that's...not comforting. Billy frowns, hating to think of that kind of pressure on Teddy. Though it's always been there, ever since they learned who he really was. It wasn't fair.]

I guess that doesn't really leave him much choice...

I mean, he could choose to stay out of it, but do you really want to leave Kl'rt in charge?

Teddy wouldn't do that.

[His fiancé is way too selfless to ignore that call when that many people are at risk.]

[A touch of anger and fury slipped into Tommy's voice. Being a mutant is all he has. He wouldn't know David if he was just a normal kid. The Shepherds would have been worse.]

I hope when I go grey before I turn thirty it turns out cool like Dr. Strange.

[Tommy's got white hair. Or silver. Totally different. Billy's picturing a salt and pepper look.]

I mean- eventually I'm not sure I'll be able to help it.

[He says. As if he isn't more muscled and his eyes weren't a whole different color.]

I'll be sure to ask mom to dress us in separate outfits.

[He flashes a teasing smile, thinking to his little brothers.]

WOW BILLY! You think Mom's really going to dress us when we're adults?

I guess I can cross comedian off my list of potential careers.

It was ever on there? Man, you really are out of it.
