Greetings all. I am Lauri-Ell. I arrived at some point during a storm that was clearly the work of some form of telepathic warfare. As it has finally cleared and I may proceed with needful tasks, my question is how I might serve the needs had here?
Are there repairs that typically take place after a storm? I do not know. Kree cities are built strong enough to weather any storm.
[The blue face has a pondering expression, a hand curled around her chin and her eyes cast aside as she prepares how to speak next. At last she proceeds.]
I have spent much of this time attempting to surmise what species might be responsible for our current situation. The Agrii are unknown to the Space Empires I am aware of, as is this planet. Nor do I recognize the stars. This could perhaps be the work of someone like the Collector, though I understand he prefers things to people. Or perhaps the Grandmaster. He is known for abductions of likely champions and setting them against impossible odds. But that is usually each other.
What further context can be provided regarding our situation? Perhaps with more details I will be able to determine where in the universe we are.

Hello, Lauri-Ell. My name is Jonathan Sims, or simply Jon for most everyone around here. And for all we know and have been able to gather from the Agrii, this planet isn't part of any universe either of us is familiar with.
I'm sorry you were brought here in the middle of the storm.

Forgive me if it is unkind to say, but how many of you are of commonly space-faring races? Do you travel between the stars? I the Chief Accuser of the Kree-Skrull Alliance, an interstellar Empire. I know many places.

Cal, Echo and Poe come from a galaxy where it's common and Raphael seems quite used to is as well. Lance and Keith also and I... I believe it's not unheard of for Cayde and those of Tony's universe, either. I could be forgetting some, but... Apparently none of our respective galaxies are quite the same. Various versions of Earth appear to be represented here at this point.
Now if you don't mind me asking in return... What exactly is a Chief Accuser?
no subject
So magic is responsible. That may explain a bit.
As the Chief Accuser, I am in charge of the reforming Accuser corp. We are the are the hand of justice in the Empire. We uphold the law of the throne, set down through his grace by Emperor Dorrek-Vell. We investigate crimes, and bring justice.

[ Jon trails off, then frowns. ]
So... You enforce the law of an alien empire. Do we have to be worried, now?
[ He's not sure how exactly to feel about that, if he's quite honest. ]
no subject
I am not Ronan. I do not enforce the laws of my species upon those that are not of the Empire. Though if I find there are those who seek to bring harm to others among us, I shall prevent it.
[Deal with it.]
Unless it is that you have chosen to ask the Emperor to rule you. Then it would be up to him to decide which of our laws apply here.
no subject
[ Now that's one thing to look forward to. Aside from... Well. There may not be a lot for her to do around here.
Jon gives a small sigh, then shakes his head. ]
I don't see why I would want to replace the Queen with an alien Emperor, so will pass on that particular offer, thank you. Not that I feel that this planet should fall under the jurisdiction of any foreign entity in the first place. You may want to reach out to the Agrii regarding their... Laws. I suppose. Forcing our laws on their planet just feels... Rude. They don't seem to want us to harm one another, however? Which is fine with me.

And I do not wish to create 'law' here.
no subject
[ Humans can be the worst, it's a simple fact. He still doesn't feel a dire need to find himself a new ruler when the Queen hasn't really bothered him. ]
I will accept your word on not wanting to impose any laws, then. Apparently we have different experiences and expectations when it comes to Empires...

I did not attempt to enforce our laws on Earth last time I was there. Of course I was in hiding. I learned much of your television shows.
[Reality TV. It's horrible.]

[ Look, he can get behind watching some good documentaries. They're educational. ]
no subject
[That wasn't something she's heard of.]
I do not know. It was called Real Ladies of Jersey. Is that a documentary?
no subject
[ Which could mean everything. ]
Documentaries aim to record and educate and can range from covering topics of nature to historical events or people, scientific matters or even human behavior.
no subject
Ah, these sound like very good things to watch for the purposes of learning. The show I watched covered human behavior. Though it was puzzling.

[ Jon gives a small sigh, setting aside that little topical detour. ]
Why were you on Earth?

no subject
[ Which is not his sort of genre. ]
So she... Successfully cleared your name, then. That's... Good. I suppose.
no subject
[These words you have make no sense to her.]
Yes. She found that the city that was destroyed of which I was the only survivor was ended in truth by a human scientist that hates my people.
no subject
[ You know what, he's not even saying it. Some of those around are literal super heroes with heroic lives that might well be action movies. ]
W-well... I'm glad to hear it worked out in the end. And you... You don't hate humans in return?

I cannot see a reason why one human's actions should override the good of all of those others.

[ None of which directed at his Earth in particular, but... You know. ]
