Beck had awoken in this place with no memory of how he'd gotten there. The switch so abrupt he was convinced for quite awhile that someone had hijacked his drones, but he'd more or less ruled that out by now, wondering his abandoned city in search of others.

There was no one there to witness his rather violent reaction to the fact that the glasses perched on the bridge of his nose- E.D.I.T.H., which had taken so much of his focus and drive, and was finally his- didn't work. They were just another mocking reminder of Stark, and Beck could practically hear the laughter.

Further exploring seemed to confirm that Beck really was alone here, though in scrolling through the datapad he'd arrived with he was able to learn quite a bit. He spent considerable time studying previous posts, considering his approach before preparing for his own broadcast.

They were born in stable orbits. Within the black holes, creatures formed from the primary elements. Air, Water, Fire, Earth. The science division had a technical name. We just called them Elementals.

They first materialized on my Earth many years ago, we mobilized and fought them. But with each battle they fought, they grew stronger. I was part of the last battalion left trying to stop them. All we did was delay the inevitable.

They destroyed my world. My family. And through some fluke of the blip I was pulled through the multiverse to a whole new Earth. And the Elementals are there now. Attacking the same coordinates.

First of all, black holes are notoriously unprofitable, so maybe reexamine that one. Is it the orbit, or the hole?

Science division of what? Do they also believe in ley lines? Are you from ancient Greece? Primary elements, jesus.
