[Bucky wakes up slowly. Groggily. Like he's been put under and getting back to wakefulness is a slow, struggling slow through molasses. Everything feels heavy and his head is pounding halfheartedly as his eyes finally, finally struggle open and -
Where the fuck is he?
He jolts in the bed he's in, still feeling like he's been hit in the head with a sledgehammer but also like he's just been hit with a shot of pure adrenaline. Waking up confused, groggy, and with no idea of where he is is never ideal.]
Later, over the network:
[It's a little while after waking up that he actually gets on the network to try to catch up. But boy howdy, when he does…
You know what? He gives up about five minutes in and just clicks the video on.]
Okay. Somebody want to tell me what the ever-loving hell I just missed?

Well, that's a start. [He blows out a breath, but it's a relieved one. He's glad she's - well. Here. But She didn't even say something as innocuous as okay, so count him as still worried, Wanda.] Spitting's just in bad taste. Especially on a lady.
No. [He shakes his head.] It's like - trying to remember a dream? When you're not sure what order anything's in, or even what happened, exactly.

We got a distress call from Ga-Re. She told us she needed help, that the other Agrii had disappeared from their ship, and that there were people trying to hurt her. She gave us the security data point and weapons.
So we got ready and left to save her. We were travelling for a little over a week, I think? We stopped at an outpost for supplies for a little while. Do you remember any of this?

[Bucky frowns. It seriously is like trying to put the jumbled pieces of a half-remembered dream back in order.] I - think I remember a distress call.
I don't know if I remember anything after that. [That is not reassuring.] God, I hope I'm not picking now to go senile.
What happened after the outpost?

[If she can ever get around to telling this story in order. It's kind of a cobbled-together mess.]
There were two ships when we reached the coordinates Ga-Re sent: the Agrii ship, and...another ship. We split up. I went to find Ga-Re and the ship's core. [Which is it's own Story, but she'll get there. Eventually.] Something happened...a wave of Storm energy. It hurt Ga-Re, and we couldn't just leave her. There was some fighting with the Graq, the aliens that look like teddy bears, but we were a little busy trying to take care of her.
