Rayla wasn't sure she trusted it, either. Humans weren't supposed to be able to do magic without dark magic, but he hadn't looked like he used the dark magic she was used to. This was... weird. It was taking a lot to get passed this.
She eyed the door as they approached, also looking for a possible way through or around.
"They might... hard to tell. We weren't ambushed, at least." Still, getting through the door would be a good idea. She really hated technology, honestly, so she was just going to take one of those blades she'd found in the weapon box, and attempt to pry open the door. When in doubt, sometimes brute force worked best.
Raphael stepped back to let Rayla have a go at the door. "True. But if they know we're here then that's where they're gonna expect us to come in."
He looked around and then grinned as he spotted the lines of a panel in the wall nearby. Pulling out his sai, he gave them a twirl before jamming them into the groove to help ease it open so he could pull it off the rest of the way. "How 'bout we try door number two?" he called over to Billy and Rayla. "Looks like some kinda maintenance shaft or something."
"I'll take point," Raphael offered, sliding on in.
If this ended up being a poor choice, he wasn't going to let anyone else on their small team take the brunt of it. Things were still too quiet, but he hoped that experience would hold and no one would ever think to look in the ventilation or the maintenance shafts.
