It's just the vaguest sense, but at the same time it's not a feeling Cal can quite shake. He unfortunately doesn't have to wait long to confirm it as the floor beneath them shudders. Lifting his head, he looks to the rest of the team and Ga Re.
"We better get the others and head back to-"
Whatever hits next almost feels like it's lanced through his own head. He winces, staggering back against the wall. The lights for the room they'd opened to get to Ga Re and engineering begin to flicker wildly before stabilizing again, although across the panel are more than a few things that seem to have been knocked offline.
The feeling. Tommy moans when it pierces through him. Not from pain. Not from discomfort. No, it's from fear and disorientation. It's like a whole range of senses have been wiped out and he doesn't know what to do with that. Other than cower over what he's once again lost.
Doesn't matter that his powers flicker back up quickly. The fear that they could be gone is terrifying.
"Shit. Storm," Tommy groans, and already he's moving. At normal human rates, which is sickening. Because he remembers. Fuck does he ever remember. "Ga Re! Fuck, this is bad for her. Does anyone know where the medical bay here is? Didn't look at the damn map."
What use did he have for a map, after all? Tommy moves right to the alien, not caring about personal space or the awkwardness of her size, and scoops her into his arms.
"We're going to get you help," he promises. "Even if I've gotta get you back to Billy to do it."
That empty feeling, brief as it is, it's not a sensation Cal's missed, being cut off from the Force. He looks towards Tommy, his reaction enough of a confirmation for what's happened, but even when they've recovered, as his Force-attuned senses reconnect, he turns to Ga Re.
"Medical... I think it's back the other way, where the other team went."
Cal steps over to the console, trying to pull up, well, anything. He tries to relay a message to the others, but he's not sure anything gets through. "Whatever just happened, it's knocked out everything. Communications were already spotty, but...what was that?" And how did it mimic the effects of the storm?
"I'll come with you," Cal nods, trying not to get frustrated by the fluctuating communication signal. He's not sure how much of his messages actually get through, but it's clear the tech team's going to need some help. They're all going to need help.
He steps away from the console and over by the speedster and the pink one. "We'll have to take it normal speed. Come on."

"You got her, Tommy?"

With that he adjusts the alien in his arms and looks to Cal.
"I can't get us through walls if this is going to happen. Could get stuck. Could blow shit up. Not safe. I need help>"

Normal speed upsets him. But he doesn't really like the idea of going slow.
