Finally, he's been able to get aboard a ship. He's not really disappointed either; the Starduck's a swanky little thing. Maybe a little over the top. It's fine. Over the top is fun.

He's still been quite adamant about not touching the datapoints, not that it keeps him from trying to do things without them. Probably no one aboard will notice the extra singing about the edges of his hood, and he's had worse to the face when the Agrii "death tool" had bit back. It's nice having a metal head.

Naturally he would have made a beeline for the cockpit, sat himself in the pilot seat, and would have had to be shooed away for the actual pilot to take the controls. And so the next spot he'd be found in would be the bunks, where he's totally laid claim to the Captain's because it being the only single bed, was the most obvious choice.

Lying with arms folded behind his head to stare up at the ceiling and not the underside of someone else's bunk, it serves to keep him entertained for maybe a while unless someone challenges him for the bed. He's willing to give it up within good reason, but if no one complains, this is where he's keeping his stuff.

If it was hard to keep track of the time on the Agra 10, it's even harder on a ship out in space. Thus the question he voices, both aloud and over the network that he assumes is still connecting them to their buddies aboard the other ships, he poses the ever eternally important question:

I'll make sure the docking bay is accessible. Though I cannot say the First Breath is very comfortable. Had I the metal, or even dry wall, I'd hang it over these damn pipes.

[Good to know. And Reeve? Reeve will be waiting to open the airlock for Cayde. As for Mini, well, the second he can, the little doll runs to Cayde, waving his arms, clearly happy to see the one he had chosen to consider his big brother.]

Wow. You weren't kiddin' about the pipes.

[Thus goes Cayde's observations the moment he sets foot aboard. He then grins and stoops down to pat Mini on the head.]

Hey there, buddy. How's space life treating the both of you?

I was not. I find that kidding about architectural design earns me nothing.

[Mini waves once the head pat happens and then holds up a paw.]

One of the droids taught him how to fist bump. He's waiting for one. And... space life is well enough, even if I'm not a fan.

Well look'it you, learning how to be hip. That what all the cool kids are doing these days?

[He has to chuckle as he curls his fingers into a fist and lightly bumps it against Mini's extended paw.]

Usually space is just the in-between to the real trip. I am downright disappointed that this ship is taking as long as it is to get anywhere.

Who knows if it is the cool ones or just the ones he hangs out with.

[Even the light bump almost knocks Mini over. But when it is done he jumps enthusiastically and then runs back to Reeve, who scoops him up.]

We have only just made it into space in my lifetime. I consider this impressive enough.

[Cayde laughs, watching Mini caper off.]

Oh, it is pretty impressive. Just lookin' out there, seeing nothing but endless stars. I just like to know there's something on the other end somewhere or at least somewhere along the line.

[Once Mini is in Reeve's hands the man begins to walk, clearly for the dime tour of the place.]

And yet, with no assurance that there was, you still boarded and chose to join us on this venture. I feel many people did. It's intriguing. We have little reason to trust these people, but we are going to try and save them. It's odd.

[Cayde follows along, casting dubious looks at the exposed pipes here and there.]

They gave us access to a ship. Doesn't strike me that they often allow for us a chance to get off-world. Also? The Agrii are the ones with the machine or whatever that's been bringing people in.

...and ignoring a call like that just rubs me the wrong way. But if someone genuinely needs help, I'll give it to 'em. Also don't hurt I get to possibly shoot some things in the process.

The ships are always available, but we cannot seem to manage to drive them as we wish. But yes, the Agrii are... truly seeming to limit us of their own choices.

[If they need help, then maybe the Agrii’s captives will be able to elicit some concessions from them, for their survival.]

You that eager to harm people?

So I've been told. Being limited to which one we can even board is another thing.

Don't get me wrong- it's not wanting to harm so much as wanting to make sure anyone who aims to do so to others, can't. I'm not proud that my main skill involves having to do some damage or worse? But I do it because I know I can and not everyone else can protect themselves.

Yes. This place seems intent on keeping us unarmed. I miss my magic.

[He sighs. If he had spells then he could do things to help others.]

Weird, that. I wonder if the Agrii will have second thoughts about all the restrictions they've been giving us if we pull this off.

I do hold hope that they will. However, I do not hold much. To do so would be foolish.

Yeah, but I'm sure the non-natives have been restless enough that if there's nothing to show for after this? Something's gonna snap. Hopefully Agrii know how to read a room.

There are few enough of us for Mini to get his own bunk, but I don't think that would be wise.

[He guides Cayde out to show him around the halls toward the cafeteria.]
