Yo, newcomer here. Just got a couple quick questions for those of you who've been here a while.
1. Anyone noticed a catch to these Data Point things yet? Like, if you switch between different ones too much, do you go blind or something?
2. What kinda work would you say needs doing most around here? Any serious gaps need filling/help wanted/etc. etc.?
3. No one's happened to find any candy laying 'round this place yet, have they?

1 don't know didn't wanna find out
2 things are pretty play-by-ear right now but if you got any particular skills or hobbies you wanna flex that might be useful...
3 dude if there was candy here i don't think you'd wanna eat it because it'd probably be ancient. however if you're really needing a fix you can use the replicator but be careful cuz it's got a limit
[Text]
Oh, I've done a lot of odd jobs over the years. You need something done, I'll figure out a way to do it.
Isn't sugar one of those things that never goes bad, though? I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere. 'Sides, I can't exactly replicate something I don't have.
[Text]
i don't even know if they have sugar here but they got other weird stuff. oh the replicator's like magic. you don't need anything, you just gotta know what it is and hope the machine does too, but so far it seems familiar with earth-based things.
[Text]
No shit? Alright, thanks for the tip. I'll give it a test run later.
[Text]
these red berry things that are ready to make you drunk right off the stem
otherwise it's experiment time but some people have made beer so either i borrow some or
yeah it's cool
you have a limit but i guess that's fair or we'd have piles of useless crap
[Text]
Sure, sure. Still a hell of a thing to get something for nothing. Wonder if we'll get to take anything back with us when we're done here.
[Text]
but also if you're good in the kitchen, there's an inn and diner in the city square across from the fountain that this guy vanto runs
he probably wouldn't mind the extra help either
know what i have no idea
not that i've found much i'd miss more than what i've got at home
[Text]
Guess you got a point. If I don't get my phone back when this is over, someone's getting shanked lol
[Text]
i feel you man
[Text]
Got something you're missing in particular?
[Text]
i'm missing like several fusion rifles and a couple shotguns but i am super missing my chicken and my partner
[Text]
Sounds like quite a stash you had. You military or something?
I hear ya, tho. Guess good help's hard to find anywhere.
[Text]
uuuh...something
i'm a guardian - hunter
doubt that means anything to you depending on where your from
oh it is so true though
[Text]
[Text]
guardians are just the catch-all for us fighters in general

2.) Who knows, who really cares? Picking something and sticking with it seems to be the way to go, at any rate.
3.) Nope. You can probably use the replicator for that, though it's got its limits, or try to make some yourself. Agriculture data point should help, just so you don't poison yourself in the process.

Well, when you've got a wide range of talents, it's only natural to want them to be put to the best use possible, don't ya think?
Make some myself, huh... now there's an interesting idea. Guess I do have enough time for a hobby now. [And he could corner the market!]
text;
With a wide range of talents you should be able to do whatever, at any rate. For the greater good, or whatever else.
Guess you do.
What does "lol" mean, by the way?
text;
Just think of it as something to throw in when you're joking around.

[Not that he often writes much informally. And any official communication has to be proper. Not that he's about to go into it.]
Will do, though.
